Didn't it work that way in ME3?  It's probably working as intended.

I just trigger it on 2 targets and lance one and throw the second.

I find it more appeasing I guess.

This game is very newbie friendly. Much more so than ME3MP and DAIMP. The starting human characters are very good and so are the Uncommon ones (except for the Engineers). The Charger is one amazingly well-balanced weapon, definitely good enough for Gold. The Biotic Powers are excellent, power/grenades tracking is excellent, Charge works wonders off-host and melee damage output is on par with the best guns in game.

Well, good job - but the adept has instant points built into it from the field, so I'd love to see your take on the Sentinel, where you'd need to work for your score

The main challenge of "Poor Man's" is to rely only on Basic and/or at most Uncommon weapons. Fully admit that the Asari Adept can run around with a broom stick and still rack up kills. I am not that versed and precise with numbers and the intricacies of the game, hence I don't know if other kits can function for lack of better word 'weaponless' as well as the Asari Adept. Maybe the vanguards and Kroguards can with Katana X?

In another thread megabeast brought up a valid point: Time To Kill (TTK) is important. Therefore since we are "Poor Man" we lack weapon which we have to make up DPS in another area which is either biosplosions, techsplosions and/or melee.

in his thread hardcoresalmon already proved that biosplosions are not what they used to be. Techsplosions aren't better too. Sadly that doesn't leave any room for 'DPS choice' except for melee. (double ammo glitch excluded)
