Played with a dude named reincarn, N7 120, CP 245, with his Saber X, in a GiP Platinum last night.
I arrived on Wave 9, to a Dagger LZ with one other new player. Checked the scoreboard, appears reincarn is good and has soloed to this point. Interesting.
Then I watched him get a max killstreak with Proxi Mine on a new spawn with two brand new Praetorians. Lulz.
@reincarn.... What the fuck is the point? You already maxed your manifest with CE, how is it fun to play God Mode?
I wish console commands were as effective off-host as on, that would have been worth a ban.

People who hack to make the game easier are pathetic. Making the game impossible is way more fun. Neocodex had a "Boss Battle" mod he'd concocted, where every Wave ended with a Boss Spawn. The Geth Prime could run, had a triple tap Siege Pulse that would instakill you if it hit, and regened Shields so fast that even with Disruptor Ammo on my SI with Energy Drain and Proxy Mine it still took the entire team 20 minutes to defeat it. 10/10 would play again |

I was in one of those recently. At first I was in disbelief (not really something a Geth can experience - as it does not compute). I decided that if I was going to be rendered inoperable that I should make a good accounting of myself - and that is something that Geth Pyros are very good at. If you remember to turn around so that you don't get "husked" and burn all of the things it can be challenging and fun.
Wave 1: Husks. It was as if the Collector ship from ME2 had dropped off the mother-load of them. You could even hear them around the corners and all - quite a nasty bit of business. Wave 2: Husks and A-bombs. Geth do not panic - but I was quite ready to upload into the network and join the consensus. Wave 3: Hacks and husks and A-bombs and Possessed A-bombs. Oh my.
Last message from Geth Pyro Unit # 1337 - concede Reactor Hazard area /sector overrun by insane amounts of Reaper Forces in strength - do not approach WARNING.

It didn't, but we had to nerf the shields eventually, it was a bit too much  |

You should try my Nightmare and Invasion mods if stuff like that interests you. They're similar, more like regular game but mixed with a lot of zombies and wicked enemies like buffed Ravagers that fire really fast and can spawn hundreds of swarmers. I also made other wave comp mods that are more similar to vanilla lineups but there' still surprise waves like 3 Nemesis (buffed to healthgate shot you of course)+3 Phantom+3 Hunter wave or an endless parade of Atlases during objective wave. |
