I played Scott first since I couldn't get a Sara I liked. I did manage to finish that but I can't really see me playing Sara till there is a major overhaul of the CC. Honestly I find I'm not missing it a whole lot. If they don't make some updates soon I doubt my interest is going to last long.
I'm replaying the OT now trying to keep my ME interest up but if it takes them months to do anything significant I think MEA will just get shelved with a host of other games I never play anymore.

Right now I'm just doing multiplayer now that I've beaten the game.
I'll give it another playthrough after some more patches and DLC have been released.

Although MEA was obviously rushed out and was intended to be much bigger. I don't hold anything against Bioware but the publisher. The game still has that spark i love from Bioware. It's a diamond covered in muck but it can still be polished. I have done two plays so far and just over 8,000 Apex rating for MP. Getting ready for a third SP once the game is more stable. Because cannot get 100% complete yet because of bugs and crashes. The game isn't what i expected at all but it's still a good game from Bioware. But my thoughts are to that of the next Dragon Age and Mass Effect Andromeda two. Sliver lining is these mistakes can be learnt from. But the issue is EA wanted it out before the end of the quarter. Ps... Bioware better get off this social justice bender.... 😂 I wanted to kill so many people or at least knock them out.... i miss renagade. MEA - Heavily Paragon Sided. I think you give EA to much credit, they only gave bioware 5 years(longest dev cycle yet for a mass effect game game) and even let the game be delayed in the process. I have no issue with EA "rushing" considering they were very generous with what they game bioware. I bet Dice would love to get the same privileges considering they're a bigger company making games with a bigger name to them. publishers are used as scapegoats way to often, especially when the developer could simply drop the contract and move right onto a different publisher only for people to then blame the new said publisher. Do you not give bioware blame for wasting a year on a no mans sky approach? and then dropping it? I blame Montreal being such a new studio and testing out so many things being the issue over the publisher. @op: I'm still playing the game and I still enjoy it even after already getting one playthrough done. Now I'm going through and doing the exact opposite of my first games decisions to see the differences. I'm also in the process of testing out every weapon and seeing which ones are good or trash for multiplayer. If you yourself don't enjoy it then don't force yourself to, you'll just make it worse trying to play something you don't like when you can spend your time on something else you may enjoy.

Over 110 hours. Insanity will take some time to finish. I think it is the most enjoyable way to play this game. Already plans for 3rd playthrough ng+ for more achievements.
And a 4th if they fix the cc for a Scott Ryder playthrough. I'm a little busy for the next months.

Yes. I haven't finished my first PT yet and don't feel very compelled to do so. Mainly because the main story just isn't all that thrilling but rather feels like something that's been done before and Ryder as a character is a failure (due to poor dialogue choices, lack of control and overuse of autodialogue). I had a very specific M!Ryder in mind for my second PT, but now don't know if there's a point in playing the game second time due to the lack of meaningful choices, no real alternative paths to the main story and other missions and of course lack of control over Ryder's personality and background.

Despite everything what I think is wrong with that game it's still Mass Effect, which means I just keep wanting more and more and I can't get enough. Sure it has MANY flaws that are HUGE, but dunno, still enjoying it more than I should. Doing second playthrough on new game plus with Scott now, around 90 hours in by now. I feel this on a spiritual level, though I'm way behind you on playtime. Even the weakest Mass Effect (which for me remains playing Noveria in ME1 because OHMYGAWD JUST PULL MY TEETH OUT I CHOOSE DEATH) is still so... so.... So Mass Effecty and I love it. Stupid game.

Taking a break, hoping they fix some of the broken missions, 'you have email,' screen fonts, the lack of EA support (they closed an unsolved ticket), and/or DLC, etc. Wrote a 3 page letter to BioWare with praise as well as criticisms on the problem areas. Plus the weather turned nice and I've got yard work to do, like cleaning up a dying tree that I had to cut down... That must be going around. Attacking a Zombie tree with a chainsaw is a lot harder then they make it look in any of the Dead Rising games. I found that out this weekend

Don´t worry mate, you are not the only one. Some time ago there were certain statistics which were saying of how much people played a game, finished it or repeat it, I think that by the end of this DLC cycle is BioWare going to see some big dive in those numbers. Game is mediocre in every aspect, even in those seemingly good ones game lack what previous games had or has some big design issues which are new on its own.

I did a full PT and then started a NG+. However, I've slowed down significantly on it. My most recent ME activities include rescuing Liara and killing her mother.

I stopped playing for the foreseeable future as right now it has no replay-ability factor for me,hopefully with a few more patches and a dlc or two that will change,it's so sad, every Bioware game i have replayed including Dragonage 2,with this i didn't.

I have replayed the ME trilogy more times than I care to admit (roughly 4000 hours), and would still rather drive the nomad across a baron planet in ME1 than replay the dumpster fire that is ME:A. :sob:

Oh, hell no. I'm working through my second play through now, checking out some stuff I missed the first time, and then I'm planning on NG+. Between the campaign and MP I've put in over 250 hrs with no regrets. As long as I'm still having fun I'll keep playing it.

Nope. Mixing and matching second Andromeda run (NG+) with a second DA2 run, and trying to get a hang of MP. Pretty fun combo. I don't have much time to play, so I always miss playing.

Not yet... Multiplayer is where the fun is at at the moment.
One thing is for sure though, the replayability of single player is pretty low. Considering there's not really any game changing choices, "trying a new class" is not a thing when I can respec for cheap, and I don't really want to do all that travel to do fetch quests on the 5 planets again.
I couldn't bring myself to do a second playthrough of DA:I... or Witcher 3 for that matter. Those large semi-open world games are too intimidating to start over, and offer very little incentive to do so.
Yet, I could do several playthrough of the ME trilogy in succession, because there's little down time and tons of replayability options. Bioware games have not evolved well.

Played thru 1st time, 98% completion. Wasn't much fun.
Spent some time doing other things (ie, in the real world).
Now on NG+ 2nd play-through, and forcing myself to let go of my completionist tendencies and only do priority, loyalty, and a few minor missions I enjoyed. Having ALOT more fun this time. Plus, having banter in the Nomad this time around is adding a bit more depth the the squad, which was really missing the first time round.
Don't get me wrong...I get really annoyed when people tell me I shouldn't do all the content in a game like this (I mean come on...if the fetch content SUCKS, why did they put it IN the damned game to begin with???) However, if you want to have a good (or at least better) time with this game, I suggest ignoring the stuff in the "additional tasks" folder and anything left in the planet folders once you get 100% viability. It may help (depending on what you do or do not like about the game).
If you are done with it, then...that's OK too.

Yeah, I stopped playing after my first play through. Despite the premise being semi-justified (Escape the Reapers) , the whole "We're explorers and the unknown is what drives us!" is still one of the worst motivations to a story like this. With the "Humanity is Special" playing such a huge role to the point that every race gets an extreme case of hero worship, things just aren't interesting in Mass Effect anymore. What will get me back? 1. Improved Character Creator. 2. DLC that doesn't end everyone or everything praising Ryder. 3. More relationship moments. 4. Movie night with the crew watching Vaenia.

Definitely putting the game on hold til future patches and DLC. I don't want to burn out on the vanilla game when each of the previous Mass Effects were 10x better with all the DLC. Couldn't imagine trying to play ME2 without LotSB.
I want to make my second playthrough count, don't have the kind of dedication to have 15 playthroughs just to see different outcomes or experiences anymore.

Nope. Still playing and finding new things. Tryng new things. Experimenting and having fun! yeah I've only done one full playthrough but I want to go back and try things I didn't do first time out and I know there are quests in the game that I didn't do first time out either. I've only really come away to give it a chance to be patched up a bit before going again as I did face a few problems as it did stutter a lot and crash but it looks like 1.05 fixed those issues but I won't know for certain till I play again which I intend to do when I finish my latest run of ME3 about halfway through so far as I'll be curing the genophage again shortly got a couple of other small things to do first though.
