Remnant Ruins - What are Your 1st IMPRESSIONS ?

The map is different and under a lot of circumstances would be an interesting one. If it was part of a dlc pack "oh cool look at this one-- it forces you into a tiny space. Changes some mechanics and gameplay. " Great. Clearly going to be a farm favorite.

But right now we're looking for signs of life from the dev team. Deflecting all Qs about balance and giving us a room for a map makes me want to facepalm hard enough to touch my occipital bone.

I hear you.It would be great to see it make its way into the regular map rotation.It would be a really fun one to grind on gold against The Kett.Overall I like the map but want some of these maps to be available to every difficulty...not just APEX missions.

I think I'll like it better with enemies other than Remnant. Observers and breachers flying everywhere were a pain.

My other issue with it so far was probably my own fault. I heard it was a small map, so I thought I should bring a close range weapon and brought my Talon. Things quickly got chaotic and dangerous, and it was never safe enough to get close to enemies to actually use my Talon, so I felt like I was just running around trying to stay alive, rather than contributing to the group (other than the Revive medal we ALL got ) If I was better equipped, I might like it better, but it is definitely going to make me wish they added a "Map: Random except not these...", as I'll only want to play on that map if I know it's coming.

That's the thing though, it's silver only right now and I would love to see how it plays on Gold.

Expected to hate it given the initial forum reaction. Ended up clearing pretty easily despite suicidal pugs and a wave 6 hack. If they expand the map a bit to include the adjacent rooms, I could see liking it quite a bit.

Functionally/fun wise.. it's ok. From a creative standpoint.. it's extremely weaksauce. Definitely their worst effort so far considering how well made the other maps are.

I like the map.It plays really well and I'm glad we have a small map in the game.

I'm not just advertising, I'm asking a legit question so I can get a sense of how the community feels so I can help to make content that will improve the game/highlight issues. All those video I listed are aimed to help players.My intention isn't to annoy people but to discuss and help this game.

I agree.I want to run this map on Gold against The Kett with some modifiers on.It'd be very tough and interesting.

Just played it. Was reading all day how small it is. But was surprised how many places are there to hide. So pretty easy just to run around with adept and there is always some place to disappear.

I think it's already a bit too big Still have to look for enemies.
