So I have been curious if challanges get finished slower, faster or at the same rate on bronze compared gold. Here are my results after 2 gold games with 4 people compared to 2 bronze games solo. No consumables used at all.
Starting out before the games: Charge was at 30,745/50,000 Backlash was at 3,363/50,000 Weapon(Scattershot) was at 121,245/140,000
Ran a bronze solo and extracted Charge now at 32,498 Backlash now at 10,393 Weapon now at127,653
Ran gold with 3 others and extracted Charge now at 33,612 Backlash now at 10,897 Weapon now at 131,734
Ran bronze solo again and extracted Charge now at 36,872 Backlash now at 17,921 Weapon now at 139,341
Ran gold with 3 other and extracted Charge now at 37,932 Backlash now at 18,739 Weapon finished
My results on average: Charge: Bronze +2500. Gold +1000 Backlash: Bronze +7000. Gold +750 Weapon: Bronze +6500. Gold +4000
Just from those 4 games, playing on bronze gave me significantly more points to my challanges, but the downside is only 8,000 mp credits compared to 55,000 mp credits on gold. So my conclusion, if you need money play gold. If your trying to do challanges, play bronze solo.
If anyone is good enough to solo golds without boosters, please help and relay any info you have here on how well gold solos help with challanges please and thank you. Thanks for reading. I hope this helps a few people out looking on how to get challanges done as fast as possible. Any constructive thoughts would be much appreciated.

Any constructive thoughts would be much appreciated. Maybe you want to take the factor "time needed to score these points" into your formula if you want to do it "as fast as possible". Are you completing a bronze solo in 12-14 minutes? Just asking. Edit: No need to hurry with challenegs, they are not resetting anyway.

Well sure. It's easier to get kills (i.e. points) with crappy weapons/powers on bronze before a teammate steals them with a vanquisher. You'd get even more in a solo. Since the base XP is roughly the same for all difficulties (before silver/gold modifiers which don't impact challenge progression) it's faster to do challenges in bronze. This didn't seem to merit testing but hey I guess it doesn't hurt anyone.

Here's a video of me earning 10,000 challenge points with backlash if you wanna know how Im doing it so fast. Huge thank you for this. Don't have the Asari Duelist so I used my Asari Sentinel. Backlash was specced 4b, 5b and 6a (recharge, reflection, resurgence). I did this on Bronze/Zero like you, the pipes are nice for not getting completely surrounded. I think I learnt how to use Backlash somewhat decently. I kept at least one Observer or Nullifier alive around me to take down everything else. Killing Destroyers is incredibly slow with just Backlash, so using a gun is probably more time efficient. You can use attacks from a Nullifier to deal some decent damage through cover, it one shots Assemblers with the aforementioned specs. None of my passives were specced for power damage increase so it could be more powerful again with a boost from there. Finished my first Bronze solo, took me half an hour but I have some newfound respect for this ability. By decent, I understand this ability is probably not so good on Silver, let alone Gold.

I can´t even remember when "challenges" in computergames were actually challenging, instead of being simple numeric trackers of time spent in-game with a particular setup. How can anyone be interested in doing them?

How can anyone be interested in doing them? All I'm going to say is Battletoads. Back when the challenges in games were just playing the games themselves.
