true.1 thing I'll say about the Angara Avenger though is that you can help teammates out extremely quickly when they're in danger.If someone is shouting out ''I'm going to go down'' , you can just get them in your sight,focus in on an enemy and use Angara strike to pause-lock them and move in close to support your teammate.It's actually really useful in that regard.

Will it be platinum viable ? Probably not.Even as melee builds go I'd still choose a Krogan over this.

lol , I think it means exactly what it sounds like.OP classes will be needed for Platinum. Asari Adept, Turian Soldier,Angara Insurgent for healing and an Infiltrator.That's the team set-up I'd go with anyways.

I just wished they sped up the animation slightly... at least before anyone with a sniper rifle picks off my target when I'm backstabbin' 

You put far too much faith in the "team" aspect. What you will want for platinum is 4xwhateverclassdoesthemostdamage. The game is just that simple.

Stun on Avenger Strike is infinitely better than the power cell replenish.

The Angara Avenger is by far the most survival character in the game. Stealth grid makes it so and when you couple this with Avenger Strike she becomes the ultimate assassin. I'd never think of taking the additional grid cell per kill over disrupting strike, anybody who suggest this just hasn't experienced disrupting strike personally. You can easily get more grid cells by hitting amo boxes, using the power capacity consumables, or in a pinch using one of your 5 mission amo packs. The 5 second stun effect makes any enemy powerless to defend themselves after the strike so they are fodder unless other enemies are nearby and force you to refrain from taking them completely out before going invisible again. There are other characters in this game that put out more damage per second but none have more survive-ability than the Angara Avenger. She is my go to character for any level including Platinum especially if you prefer to play a more lone wolf role than always sticking together with teammates. On Platinum many folks will complain if you play her as an assassin instead of in a more team oriented role but regardless she can still be a major contributor to team success if you play with a team spirit, always work the goals with the team and make sure to highly prioritize picking up downed teammates. Your usage of your invisibility and your ability to cloak you and your teammate prior to reviving them is priceless since in heavy firefights you don't end up going down immediately after reviving them. When you add in sticky grenades and the fact that you remain cloaked when throwing them you can do big damage to the top level bosses without taking any damage while dishing it out. She is easily in the top tier of available characters MEA has provided us and by far my favorite.
