Please, enough with the "it's just a game" and "quit overreacting." The video-game industry gets away with so much it's nearly criminal. If any other product that sold millions at $60+ a pop had these myriad of problems it wouldn't be good for the company selling it, I'll tell you that. Only when we as consumers stand up to this nonsense will anything change. I understand games will always have bugs at launch, I get it. It's just one thing after another in my experience with this game. It screams half-assed/non-existent QA playtesting and corporate pressure to meet a release date. Unacceptable. Three things off the top of my head that I believe actually are criminal. Literally. I don't know how someone hasn't faced charges yet. 1. Pre rendered cinematic reveal trailers. (Straight up Fraud) 2. Attempts to prevent pre owned games. (Competition Law/Antitrust) 3. Microsoft says in writing "There are no refunds for this item" on every digital purchase. (Consumer Rights Act/Refund Policy Law) Considering there has been no action taken for any of the above I would say adding Bribery to the list would be a pretty safe bet.

Pre-rendered cinematics now have a disclaimer on them. It's no different than ads for TVs or smartphones not using actual footage.
And you have no idea what you're talking about with antitrust law or consumer rights acts.

Oh, is it time for armchair lawyers already?
If I don't like it, it's gotta be illegal, right?

In fairness off-host hit detection on ME3 was terrible also. Just differently terrible. I must disagree. I still play ME3:MP and could land headshots consistently as an off-host most of the time. However rubber-banding is still there, although there are ways to get rid of it temporarily(like, switching to cover).

You forgot Valve (and Sony, and Microsoft... and of course EA) forcing you to give up your right to collective litigation (class action waivers in their User Agreements), stripping you of basic consumer protections, if you want to use their products/services. Because why the fuck not, right?

For every few players crashing every two or three matches there are a lot more without any.I don't have any crashes, but I did in ME3 sometimes. Rubberbanding and bad hit detection was there in 3, and even worse on occasion. I am at least able to hit stuff with a Falcon off-host for example. Oh and I didn't manage to get stuck while Biotic Charging yet, nor have I succeeded in floating around as Jesus. Though I've heard rumors... How the hell do you figure that out? Do you have some inside scoop on something we don't? If things are bad, people start complaining. But if things are good, people keep their mouth shut. There are a lot more active players than those visiting this forum (or the 'official' one, or reddit or whatever). Since we don't hear from them, it's probably all good for them. And not EVERYBODY here complains about crashes either. If a majority experiences crashes it would have been fixed a lot sooner. It's not currently because more people were complaining about underpowered assault rifles...

And it wasn't fixed in one week either.... I remember the jumping left and right and over again while trying to walk forward on poor host connections, or trying to shoot at enemies... hey improved matchmaking and stuff eventually so it got a lot better.

Or maybe after the third crash, the average joe that is not a huge ME3MP fan will just move on to other games that don't crash at the drop of a hat. I also find your faith in biower's ability to promptly deploy fixes for critical issues if they are widespread enough... baffling. They don't exactly have a great track record in that regard.

So you just have to live with something I pulled out of my butthole.

There's no doubt a hell of a lot of difference in how many crashes people are getting, and while you can't eliminate them completely, the failure rate for the ones with the most is definitely unacceptable. I know the plural of "anecdote" isn't "data", but I'm also in the fortunate group that hardly ever crash. In 272 hours played, I've had a handful of crashes to desktop and one hard freeze (but that was in SP). The sound bug I've gotten more than I'd care to remember, though. Meanwhile, one of the friends I play with regularly is crashing left and right in both mp and sp. I'd be extremely salty if I had his crash rate, mine I can live with.

I never claimed there's nothing to be fixed. I'm just more optimistic that it will happen somewhere before 2018 then the next guy I guess, when BW stops looking into things and decides to act on them...

Just like I thought. You pulled that out of your ass. What, do you have evidence that everyone experiences crashes? Or because you and a number of other people around here have issues you assume the whole world must have have them? In almost every game I play people are dropping left and right out of the game. Way more often than in ME3. It's in fact a rare occasion that the four people who started the match will finish it together. As long as I host I won't crash - and judging from the low amount of hostmigration I've encountered it seems to be an off-host issue. I'm not alone with this, almost every person on my friendslist is suffering from the issue. I bet the ones that don't are always hosting.
