Remnant desperately needs another mid-tier mook. With the cap on active nullifiers and destroyers we are left with a ridiculous amount of observers and breachers to fill up the spawn budget. Or (my fantasy) buff assemblers and remove breachers completely, and I suppose change their names. Good point honestly, which happens to explain why we constantly have 3 laser beams firing at us from 3 different directions. The devs wants a new Geth faction but this totally isn't up to the same standard.

I think lack of enemy types is a huge problem, for both SP and MP.
If they had more enemy types, they could afford to balance differently, without just scaling HP/shields stupidly.
in SP, they could have the kett evolve throughout the game and introduce more and more unique enemies as the game progresses. Remnant can have any number of new machines pop up.
in MP, higher difficulties/waves could spawn different enemy types and give lots of different combinations of enemies for more versatile experiences.
I would totally support more enemy types. I also assume that this is what will happen with DLCs. The game should progress nicely.
It has all the symptoms of a rushed game. Each patch should be optimistically better.

Agree Remnant need more variety but unless they add the Architect (which would suck) it would introduce a different enemy than SP storyline.
But then again, I can't remember if Bombers, Pyros or Collector bees/web were in the single player story of ME2/ME3 either but were added into ME3MP.

Bombers and the ME3 collectors as a whole weren't in SP. Or maybe the collectors were in from ashes? I never played it so idk. The remnant do feel a bit lacking, and I would love another unit to eat up some of the observer spawns so there's not constantly a swarm of them harassing you like over sized mosquitoes. Alternatively I'd like to un-nerf the nullifiers and nerf observers harder. Nullifiers were a pretty neat combination of an artillery/ranged heavy and a cover breaker. Now they're just toothless and feel redundant most of the time with all the breachers and observers rushing you making cover pointless anyways.

Geth bombers were manufactured out of thin air for the sole purpose of busting up the FBWGG farmeta. So there is precedent in the series for this kind of MP-specific addition. Cerberus had dragoons added from nowhere as well.

Their shots actually hit things, and they screw around less.

If we should be making them harder, they could prehaps use a durable unit like the outlaw Zerker, designed to flush us out of cover. The Breacher can do this somewhat, but it is very fragile and so of very little concern. Nullifiers shots do bring you out of cover, but it travels slow and is easily dodged by moving to the left or right a little bit. Observers are annoying on paper, or if you are a melee based kit primarily, and to a weapons platform, they are not too tough to deal with either. Yes. pleasegodbiowarethis. Just what we need. More units to render cover useless.

I am sorry to butt in... but I have my own question about Remnants while we are at it. Why the heck are we even fighting Remnants in random places? They don`t seem like a type that venture into random places and bother us collecting intel and uploading data. What the fruit is wrong with Remnants in MEAMP? :poker: What the hey do they have against us? You should ask one of those "important personnel" Observers about it next time.
