Wow.... and we used to think at least MP will be ok because this game is made by people who participated in creating and updating ME3MP. They probably got well deserved promotions, the MP dev lead is a guy that has as far as i found (only) has supervised and worked in leveldesign.... Nothing against him but goddamn the MP part is for me a unenjoyable cluster fuck. One thing that works against multiple patches is that i think i read somewhere when ME3 was new that the company that puts a patch out on xbox has to pay MS for it every time. If i was a in bioware's shoes i would try to balance weapons and powers with weekly optional patches on pc with public feedback . And release a parch on xbox and PS when most people are happy with the current one.

No wonder they're having issues balancing the game, they're playing a completely different game. If armor mitigation is 0 and shield recharge is damn near instantaneous they probably do think the game is pretty forgiving on higher difficulties.

Also, ME3MP worked so well because most values could be changed server-side so a patch wasn't even needed. In 5 years Bioware has forgotten why ME3MP was so successful (hint: weekly balance changes, community events, and great DLC).

Interesting. I played the SP in Normal because, you know, I thought I'd be normal. Had a pretty shitty experience on Hard difficulty back on DAI days (sword sponges everywhere), so I didn't want to experience that crap again. I always said SP was pretty unbalanced too, things like pistols and ARs feel like spit throwers even on Normal.
