So, did you change your SP difficulty to narrative? ;))

Well, it only works if you're the host and my internet really isn't up to that job. Furthermore, combo damage is also tied to single-player difficulty so setting it to Narrative will give you the weakest explosions (although it doesn't really make a great difference as combos are always very weak anyway).
And apparently the duration of the invincibility frames you get when your shield is broken is another variable which is tied to single-player difficulty. Enemy shield-gate might be too.......

Amazing to think that this game had 'the most extensive testing of any BioWare game ever'

They figured out that combos were not scaling correctly across difficulties (just a few weeks after most players had spotted it) and that's related to all the single-player nonsense so hopefully there will be some kind of fix.

so if i understood correctly not only i get up to 20% more weapon dmg against armored targets if i change difficulty to narrative, but my shieldgate increases from 0.1s to 0.5 s ? oh boy... *facepalm*

I get the impression the QA was done with maxed manifests on bronze vs outlaws. Because they certainly never faced a fiend. Or worse, they did and thought that getting grabbed through walls or across the map was a great "feature".

It's ok though, after 5 weeks of people bringing it to their attention, they're "looking into it"TM

Explains why one game feels like a cakewalk and the next one like "wtf - what just happened?".

Did Bioware figure this out themselves or did they learn about it on reddit/uBSN? Will this be patched with the next patch or do we have to wait for another 5-6 weeks until it's fixed?
