If you think Cassandra is anywhere close to being universally attractive then I'm truly sorry for you. With all due respect, you hardly seen to know how men decide whether someone is attractive or not. Ultimately every person will be at least somewhat attractive to someone, but there are is a kind of universal attractiveness that appeals to a large majority of men. I can look at a woman and think "I'm sure almost all my friends will think she's attractive" and sure enough they do. I can look at a woman and think opposite and it will be true as well. Cassandra definitely doesn't come even close into universally attractive territory, and neither does Josephine (although it has a bit less to do with her looks and more with her character). You think I'm some special snowflake, but that is not the case. I can think that a woman is unattractive, but at the same time know that many men will find her as such. That is not what's happening here. True enough, if Cassandra was universally attractive we wouldn't have threads like this. I suppose I don't know, I thought it was usually based on looks (which can vary depending on culture, and where a person grew up). I didn't think you're a special snowflake, I was just going for a different strokes for different folks type of thing but did so poorly. deadpool9 Avatar Dec 5, 2016 11:47:18 GMT -7 deadpool9 said: Tarkus No need to bring Jesus into this. It's offensive speech on another level than our obviously inane debate over video game characters' attractiveness. Typed it out of frustration at your post that I quoted, and you're right I'll be sure to type Jimmeny Cricket or just use one of those smilies next time.

Didn't even know that there was a Barbie movie in the talks. What you fail to understand though, is that males never have any problem with guys having muscles they'll probably never even see in ther lifetime, let alone achieve themselves. Neither do they have a problem with very handsome faces. Various games from various genres had such characters since late 90s and no one cried because of this. It is only lately when it comes to females that the argument "not every female is a model" or "beauty is subjective" or "not all women need to look like barbies" came into play. Games are meant to be jump away from reality. If I am to romance women in games, I want them to be attractive. I honestly see more attractive women during one day at my university than I've seen during my whole DA:I playthrough (and I'm studying IT mind you, not a lot of females here). It literally serves no purpose. To whom making females unattractive appeal to? Straight women won't romance them anyways, and I can't imagine lesbians being happy that women are unattractive. So please, tell me, what purpose does making female characters unattractive serves? No one wants to romance someone with mental traits of a barbie doll. There's a reason why Lara Croft's character is very popular amongst men. She was strong, capable, could take care of herself but at the same time was attractive (both in games, relative to graphic capabilities of course and in movies) and didn't shoo away every men because "muh strong independent woman, I don't need a man". I can't imagine many people want to romance a plastic doll either, but you're of course jumping to extremes as anyone who lacks arguments. No one asks BioWare to make females look like from porn-like Skyrim mods. They can do attractive and fairly realistic (considering it's a game) female characters just fine, as history proves. It is only as of late that they decide against doing so. Cassandra and Josephine are attractive. They haven't made females unattractive. Again, they haven't made the female characters unattractive, they just don't fit your standards is all. deadpool9 Avatar Dec 5, 2016 11:28:11 GMT -7 deadpool9 said: Somebody with a Twitter account please contact @gamblemike and tell him with all due respect that we've all seen pictures of his wife and her modelling of N7 gear. I'd say Wiig, Dunham, and Schumer are pretty good-looking. Also, sure, I don't see why Sara Ryder wouldn't be right up there with your second list. You clearly saw the movie Shallow Hal. As for me, I refuse to take the blue pill or go in for my scheduled appointment for reeducation. Excuse me while I look at Amy Schumer being considered for the role of Barbie and hurry to the toilet to *throws up in mouth a little* Nope. Wow . I honestly doubt Schumer would be considered for the role of Barbie.

If she was an actress, she'd be gorgeous since Hollywood has pretty high standards of beauty for women (above-average/gorgeous for us is homely for them). Ah, you're the guy who thinks Kristen Wiig and Melissa McCarthy and Mindy Kaling and Ellen Degeneres and Lena Dunham and Amy Schumer are above-average in looks. Yes, Sara is right up there with Stephanie Corneliussen, Emilia Clarke, Blake Lively, Paula Patton, et. al. Very well. Carry on. I'd say Wiig, Dunham, and Schumer are pretty good-looking. Also, sure, I don't see why Sara Ryder wouldn't be right up there with your second list.

All I'm going to say is, if Sara was on the cover of People magazine, it wouldn't be because she was gorgeous. It would be because she was a good actress. Women could say how pretty she was compared to the average woman, probably enhanced because she wears expensive clothes and has her hair and makeup done by professionals, or because they just like her personality and really want to root for her, but Sara would never be known as above-average in looks. Scott, however, looks like he could star as The Bachelor. In fact, I think Eric Bana called and said he's considering suing Bioware for appropriating his face/hair onto Scott's body without his express permission. If she was an actress, she'd be gorgeous since Hollywood has pretty high standards of beauty for women (above-average/gorgeous for us is homely for them).

deadpool9 Avatar Dec 4, 2016 20:00:04 GMT -7 deadpool9 said: (why is Scott model-looking for a guy while Sara looks like someone hit her in the face with a shovel?) That's one odd look for someone that got hit in the face with a shovel. Was this some sort of beautification shovel, did Scott get hit with the same shovel? So my point? This disparity in their appearances is inherently unfair and hypocritical. One is clearly better looking than the other. This is simply more evidence to my argument that Bioware is on a social agenda at the behest of liberal, progressive feminists, in part, to help themselves and hurt the opponents they've chosen to declare war upon. So be it. But own it. And own and accept that by catering to this group you're screwing over another group, hetero males. Worse yet, keeping males beautiful but uglying down females is a contradiction. "Good looking love interests for me, but not for thee," is what is virtually being announced on a megaphone. Furthermore, this has been a worrying trend that many players noticed actually started in Dragon Age: Inquisition. So far, there has been no evidence to contradict that male hetero players have been intentionally screwed over yet again, while female and gay players have been rewarded or have been allowed to keep their rewards. Yes, it matters, especially since romance is a key part of these games that people enjoy. Yeah, Sara is. Hetero male here, they aren't screwing over our group by catering to others. Love interests have generally been good-looking, especially the hetero ones. No, fans have always been pretty damn critical of the companion love-interest's looks. So, we've been screwed over because Sara and Sloane Kelly aren't what some men consider attractive? Also the OP is a somewhat known "troll" (put it in quotes because he might be genuine, but I don't think so) from the old BSN. He started as Brevnau and made several repeat threads like this, and he never bothered to debate with other posters in those too.

Ryder's armor looked like it followed Inquisition rules, so maybe the same will happen for our squadmates, with at least one set being a full-on suit hopefully.

I didn't like Fallout 4 all that much, mainly because it felt like a HUGE step down from New Vegas. I mainly didn't like how they changed up leveling from what it was in 3 and NV. I also can't say I'm a fan of the whole Settlement building; as much as I'd like to build settlements, I'd rather not worry about finding the resources to haul around, the things couldn't even properly snap together, and the settlements couldn't even defend themselves if I'm out and about in the wastes.

Life is Strange is definitely my favorite game from last year, along with Until Dawn. I saved Arcadia Bay, didn't really like the idea of the whole town being destroyed by some freak time tornado. But the real reason is because I didn't want to risk Kate dying to that freak time tornado, sorry Chloe.

The Andromeda inhabitants probably never had the tech to come to the Milky Way, they don't seem to have any Mass Effect technology like the relays. Heck, maybe they only had a recent jump in their technology thanks to some stray Reaper.

- The Ryder twins are clones of Miranda's father, that Alec Ryder bought or stole. - The Ryder siblings have the G-virus - Ryder's family is descended from a line of humans that were experimented on by Prothean Scientists. - That there is no secret, and that halo head (or whoever voiced that line at the end of the N7 trailer) just didn't know how to best compliment Ryder.

If they are using the default names in voiced lines, I hope it doesn't amount to just one character that does so (The Ryder family and squadmates definitely should, I really hated that Codsworth was the only one who called the Fallout 4 player character by name).

Hitman (2016) - I did a suit only Silent Assassin run in Sapienza, it was pretty fun although it took me several tries. I'd also done a suit only Silent Assassin run for the final test tutorial stage (doing the escalation mission helped me plan) and Paris (had the most difficulty on this stage).

I hope that long hair is an option for this guy. I know, I know, it's impractical, he's a military... but compared to some "awesome but impractical" things we already had, it's a minor sin. Please please please please M!Ryder seduce me with your voice.... instead of having the sex appeal of a cardboard.... That brings back memories of M!Shepard trying to seduce Morinth. He deserved to die solely for his... performance. (I'm not sure about Femshep, don't remember doing that part with her)Aside from Alec Ryder (the dad), I'm pretty sure that neither of the Ryder kids are military. Besides the Andromeda Initiative is more of a civilian thing, so you can hope for Scott to have long luscious locks. I hope Scott Ryder's seductive voice is his Octodad voice.
