I'm someone who has grown up with both Star Trek and Star Wars (proof that you can be a fan of both). I became a fan of Star Trek from the movies mostly (but overtime I watched the shows too, for the most part). When I was a kid, I had absolutely no idea that "Even numbered Star Trek movies are good; Odd numbered Star Trek movies are bad" was a thing. The first movies I remember watching (as far as I can tell) were "Star Trek III: The Search For Spock," and "Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home." Out of the original six movies, those two are the ones I enjoy the most. They are my top 2 favorites for the Kirk movies. The Wrath Of Khan is a fantastic movie, but I watched 3 & 4 first, and I didn't see 2 until later. I also consider "Star Trek: The Motion Picture" to be incredibly underrated. Heck, my favorite version of the Starship Enterprise is in 1-6 (1701 "Refit" & 1701-A). First Contact is my favorite Next Generation film, and sometimes I feel that Insurrection gets a bad rap. Yeah, it's not as good as First Contact (or probably Generations imo), but it was more a Star Trek movie (due to Johnathan Frakes' directing) than Nemesis. I also like the reboot movies. That's just my two cents...

Let me tell you something...I can't f**king stand that label "true fan." I don't why he hasn't seen it, but I'll tell you my reason for not seeing it yet. Money is tight for me now. Bills are being paid, and I am personally unemployed. If I had the money to see it now, I would have bought tickets much earlier. I have to wait awhile. 1. I hate it too 2. I am very strapped for cash (audited by IRS + pay cut at work) 3. I saw it today in a matinee screening for $12.75 4. You are reaching. It is obvious Reaching what?

Dear Millennials; one possible reason why the "Lando mourning his Droid lover" scene was strange/uncomfortable for you is because it was likely meant as Satire. That is; roasting your ENTIRE generation & the asinine way you are all SO attached to your fucking iPhones. Think about it Oh & it's not the 1st time...W <iframe width="4.199999999999989" height="4.199999999999989" style="position: absolute; width: 4.2px; height: 4.2px; z-index: -9999; border-style: none; left: 11px; top: 108px;" id="MoatPxIOPT0_35754537" scrolling="no"></iframe> <iframe width="4.199999999999989" height="4.199999999999989" style="position: absolute; width: 4.2px; height: 4.2px; z-index: -9999; border-style: none; left: 166px; top: 108px;" id="MoatPxIOPT0_82392702" scrolling="no"></iframe> <iframe width="4.199999999999989" height="4.199999999999989" style="position: absolute; width: 4.2px; height: 4.2px; z-index: -9999; border-style: none; left: 11px; top: 264px;" id="MoatPxIOPT0_15563072" scrolling="no"></iframe> <iframe width="4.199999999999989" height="4.199999999999989" style="position: absolute; width: 4.2px; height: 4.2px; z-index: -9999; border-style: none; left: 166px; top: 264px;" id="MoatPxIOPT0_54329552" scrolling="no"></iframe> Well...thanks for the spoiler. I haven't seen the movie yet, and already I'm worried about the box office numbers and the future of Star Wars in film. I'm still seeing the movie. This makes me sad and angry at the same time. I've been a long time Star Wars fan, and I love the new movies so far. I really don't want to see this go down like Star Trek, which I still can't get over. I grew up with both in some way. I really liked the Star Trek reboot films, and seeing Star Trek: Beyond fail at the Box Office hit hard. Seeing the Star Trek films die off again is something that still bothers me today, and I don't want to see it happen to Star Wars. Filming for Episode IX hasn't even started yet, and I'm already nervous about the backlash, boycotts, and the toxicity towards that movie before release. Everything is falling apart, and it is NOT---Goddammit I will continue to say this until the day I die--it is NOT because of Disney/LucasFilm. It is because of some of the most horrible examples for fans I have ever seen. Rational, and well thought criticism is well deserved when it counts. Saying sh*t like what I've online is not well deserved. Things like death threats and bullying are not a justifiable thing to do. These people will not be happy until there is nothing left. Actually, they'll hopefully see the error of their ways once Star Wars is gone for the next decade, if they do not stop their horrible, toxic, and self righteous BS.

If only there was room for someone who's pretty much a fan of all the movies (like me)? I'm the kind of Star Wars fan who's unfortunately caught in a crossfire... Hell, I'll be so bold as to show my list of the films I love the most, and the least. 1) Return Of The Jedi (My absolute favorite Star Wars movie) 2) The Empire Strikes Back 3) A New Hope 4) The Last Jedi 5) The Force Awakens (Depending on my mood, TLJ, TFA, & RO will switch around) 6) Rogue One 7) Revenge Of The Sith 8) The Phantom Menace 9) Attack Of The Clones I haven't seen Solo yet. To be more specific, I love 6 out of 9 (ROTJ, TESB, ANH, TLJ, TFA, RO), and like 3 out of 9 (ROTS, TPM, & AOTC).

....What part of my comment did you not understand? Are you ignorant, or just plain stupid? I__am___NOT__talking___about___people__with___legitimate___criticisms towards these movies. You seem to be reading only what you want to read. If you dislike the movies, that's fine. If you do not like Rian Johnson, that's fine. I am talking about the fans who are horribly irrational, throwing death threats to people involved, and calling civil people who liking the movie (who are just trying to be honest about their opinion) shills, or sheep. The same goes for people who call others haters. It's discouraging, and it's a blight on the fanbase. I personally like the new movies, and that is MY opinion. If you dislike them, that is on you. But all fanbases are chock-full of idiots, aren't they? There's nothing special about Star Wars in this regard. Yes, but Star Wars is one of the worst.

Might not see Solo: A Star Wars Story, not because of the movie itself, but for all the toxic BS that almost entirely drained the excitement out of me. It's a sad twisted fandom now. You're either a cool, respectable fan on the negative side of things, or your a shill/sheep, and no longer have a relevant position in the Star Wars fan community. Smh Star Wars fandom in general is getting out of hand. It's getting so bad with the horrible toxicity of the fanbase, I sometimes wonder if want to be a Star Wars fan anymore. It's come to that. It's reached that point. Despite loving Star Wars for years, I don't think I want to be part of a community with toxic people. Shill this, shill that. It's everywhere. Everywhere I see accusations that this is a shill/SJW Feminist movement. They say that Disney is ruining Star Wars. On the contrary, these horrible example of fans are ruining SW for me. Has anyone seen the "Want to see it" percentage for Solo on Rotten Tomatoes? Now I really can't take that site seriously. I can't see the legitimacy for this. It's ridiculous. This fandom is starting to either make me sick to my stomach, or fall on the floor laughing. I can't take people like that seriously. For one, it's the internet, and no one in their right mind would be just as irrational and/or pathetic in person. It's possible, though. Also no matter how many of you say "Well, they have a legitimate reason for being mad," I'm not taking it seriously. Sorry not sorry. It's one thing to have actually criticisms for a movie, but it's another to act the way some of these fans do online. The toxic fans are bringing this all down a horrible slope. I don't know if it's because Star Wars is not how they want it to be (meaning they hold the Original Trilogy close to them in a very unhealthy way), or if they're doing this for amusement to pluck the nerves of other people online (like trolls). I'm not talking about fans who may have legitimately negative things to say about these movies. I-am-talking-about the irrational fans who have become a witch hunting poison in the fandom, who justify and shout out things (like a twisted regime) like "STAR WARS IS DEAD," "DISNEY RUINED STAR WARS," "THEY RAPED MY CHILDHOOD," "YOU'RE A SHILL/SHEEP," "YOU'RE A HATER," "YOU'RE NOT A REAL FAN," blah blah f**king blah. The list goes on. I thought it was bad before these new movies. Two insane sides (both negative & positive) in civil war, and attack those with an opposing. Leave the politics in the movies, not the fandom. They cover the internet like a plague. No civil discussion without attacks. I'm sorry, but no one else is killing Star Wars except for that part of the fandom. Their horrible behavior will become so bad, it'll go beyond the internet, and grow further IRL (in person), and sooner or later people will just go away from Star Wars because a lot of fans are just so terrible. If this doesn't stop, Star Wars will eventually die. How's that for cruel irony? First let me say that I think the idea öf the fandöm being "töxic" is överstated. Yes there has been peöple whö are töxic in this fandöm, just like any öther, but they are a very small part that för söme reasön always gets the möst attentiön. The fans did nöt make the fandöm "töxic" but the mövie makers did. Why was this nöt a pröblem with the prequels? Sure peöple göt intö heated arguments aböut them but it was never "töxic". The reasön is that as I've been saying again and again, the mövie makers have a very clear pölitical agenda they want tö push. And then when peöple criticize it they cöme öut and say that they are just racist, sexiest, bigöts, man babies, ect. Why dö yöu önly call öut the fans för their "toxic" behavior and nöt the mövie makers? The vastly huge percentage öf peöple whö hated the Last Jedi had legitimate pröblems with the störy, the characters, the pacing, the jökes. And then thöse peöple are called hörrible things by the mövie makers. Rain fuckin Johnsön has said that he has zerö regrets aböut it and nöne of the criticism is fair. Really? Sö the mövie is perfect? I am fuckin tried öf the peöple whö call us töxic för simply pöinting öut the fact that the mövie has HUGE plothöles, the characters are flawed, ect. Keep ön ignöring the agenda these peöple have. They actually say it in interviews. And I am the bad guy whö pöints it öut. I'm the öne making it "töxic" yeah ökay. ....What part of my comment did you not understand? Are you ignorant, or just plain stupid? I__am___NOT__talking___about___people__with___legitimate___criticisms towards these movies. You seem to be reading only what you want to read. If you dislike the movies, that's fine. I'm interested in this game, but I can't help but have concerns. Andromeda was okay. There were many problems. Don't get me started on Battlefront. They gotta step it up. When I saw the trailer for E3, it look interesting but remember the player dialogue in the trailer? I couldn't help but be extremely annoyed when I heard the obviously fake players. Scripted chat in gameplay trailers is such massive pet peeve for me. It was painfully obvious like all the others. It's hardly ever like that. From my experience, players are louder, frantic, obnoxious, and sometimes hilarious. We're not idiots. We can tell.

Nothing now, but someday, Quorra will return. I'm going to record her story in 1080p HD. Sometime after, she might be recorded in 4k. Idk. (4k is pretty damned pricey, especially for a PC. 4k might have to wait awhile, at least for PC gaming. If anything, I'll get a 4k TV first).

PICTURE OF THE DAY! She nails the vest look... Well she is a pretty Shepard so nicely done there Thanks Her hair cut was deliberate. It's good for sequel purposes (some characters in media change their styles all the time...like Ripley in Aliens), and her previous hairstyle didn't look right in ME3. ME1ME2ME3

Saw Infinity War. I give it 5/5 (or 10/10). I feel like someone (or something) ripped my heart out, stomped on it, and gave the shattered remains back to me. As for the DC movies, I didn't see Justice League (I didn't see Suicide Squad either, but I wasn't interested in the first place). I watched some scenes of JL on YouTube. What the hell happened? The tones in Man Of Steel, BvS, and Wonder Woman fit perfectly. They should have remained on this course...

masseffectfanforlife : Are you just coming to the realization that there's a very good chance that the late 70s - early 80s were the swan song of great cinema??? I'll admit that I did kinda spoil myself by watching some scenes from the 1st movie on YouTube a while back, but with the Blu Ray, I was able to watch the movie from beginning to end, in full context.

She believes in God. So what? I do too (There's gotta someone, or something out there in the Cosmos beyond our own existence & undertanding). It's not like she's one of those overly religious nut jobs who throws the bible in your face and says that everything you do is a sin. Anyway, picture. Enjoy:

I've done nothing. The next time I play Mass Effect, Quorra's story will be recorded for YouTube, and for the world to see. The posters I created and shared in the "Share Your Shepard" topic page can be seen as advertisement. It's just going to have to wait awhile (possible months). Recording takes a lot of space. I would need an external HD with an adequate amount of space (I'm using Nvidia). Stay tuned...
