I just said it'd be lost on you To be fair I'd expect any rational person to be lost reading this conversation.
The point: Casey talks about the lunch, bugs and BioWare's long term commitment to the game. That's good, I'm looking forward to seeing how the game develops over the coming years. hence why the point is lost on you

the point was made in above posts Obviously your deductive skills need improvement You first said it would be lost on me, then instead, that it was stated in the posts above. Perhaps it is your communication skills that need improvement. did I say "I have one but I will not express it"? No I just said it'd be lost on you

Ah, a trait unique to the BSN I see. That's cool, I'll just head over to Resetera (the biggest hug box on the internet) and bathe in optimism and positivity: - This says...nothing.
- This is...pretty much nothing.
- i think the whole "toxicity makes devs not want to interact with the community" is BS. Yes, there is a LOAD of toxicity that is absolutely disgusting, but when you mess up this bad, a community manager should be on the frontlines, NOT the devs.
- Is it up to the B-team to fix this now as the core devs focus on future titles? Genuinely curious.
- Yeah okay we didn’t get anything out of this thanks BioWare
- Why bother with such a meangless statement?
- lmao, it’s literally nothing
www.resetera.com/threads/anthem-%E2%80%93-post-launch-update.106275/Okay, that didn't go as planned. Maybe Reddit, the biggest Anthem community and the one which interacts most with the devs, can lead the way to a more optimistic future. I'm EXCITED, let's go: - They needed millions of players to tell them how severely lacking/flawed/disappointing loot is. I honestly don't see the future for this game going all that well if they were THAT ignorant on very basic loot mechanics.
- I'm more surprised that they needed millions of players players to tell them that locking the gear loadout screen behind a loading screen was about the worst thing you can do in a game of this type.
- “Let’s learn to make a game we don’t know how to make and charge people for it”
- This is what happens when you take the MMORPG instance genre(which is basically this genre. Go look at Dragon Nest go, look at any other Instance base MMORPG or "looter shooter" is what the FPS version wants to be called.") and don't even follow it.
- Basically says, "you're paying to be our beta testers lol"
- "Tested and prepared" I stopped reading right there.. thats why players are still beta testers for this game.. lol.
- This game had problems that were absolutely apparent to you and your team before launch and you launched it anyways. There's no way a development team could have been ignorant to these problems, and to say that these were "unexpected issues" or that they didn't reveal themselves until it hit large scale is incredibly dishonest.
www.reddit.com/r/AnthemTheGame/comments/b2ykhk/anthem_post_launch_update/Huh ... maybe this isn't a BSN issue. cheers

I don’t get all the pessimism. There may be some issues in the endgame and maybe they should have seen them coming but they are fixing them. Things like the connection problems and loading problems and Quickplay problems could easily be issues never encountered outside of a sizeable live user environment. In any case I see no reason to doubt that they want to fix the issues and plan to fix them and will fix them. Why would they not? How would it serve them not to fix them? In the meantime I’m enjoying the game, experiencing the story again with different choices and looking forward to more and continuous story updates. I’m still finding useful loot and growing more powerful. If I want a challenge I can play higher difficulties and if I want to dominate I can play lower difficulties. That’s going to be the same no matter what loot I get from this point on and the rarity of finding legendaries just makes it all the more sweet when I do. I'm so sorry but Did you miss the part where after SIX YEARS of development we got an MVP with bare bone content, a shit ton of inexcusable bugs, missing/cut features, awful mechanics and a downright deceitful marketing? You don't understand the negativity????

uh...during the ME1 and 2 era there was none of that. Of course some writers made dumbass comments that made them REALLY step into it (I wish we could remove the gameplay entirely) with no qualifiers ....or just extremely racist ones (you know who I am referring to) but none of that started until ME3 and DA2...gee I wonder why I remember crap starting in ME2. Personally, I think it was because the lack of toolsets forced everyone into the role of asking for stuff. The toxic part happened because the most demanding part of the community kept trying to convince everyone else who was satisfied that, no, what you got is crap and you need to demand more. A variation on that was: "You, player that picked something else, need to pick Destroy." according to the metrics 60+ percent of the players already did It did not help that I got a quote from a senior dev stating Mac and Casey scrapped a reunion scene after destroy...

Omg like...are you telling me shutting down the BSN because it was the home of toxic fans and turning to social media and other platforms did not work? Maybe because the criticism was WARRANTED? Hostile replies to DEV story writers, programmers, and art designers aren't warranted. They largely don't control timelines or the quality of the final product. So, yeah, being overly hostile the them is not helpful, and BSN was toxic, and it was probably a good idea to shut it down. As others have mentioned, why support a platform with a community that just craps on your products and talks about how great other games are? uh...during the ME1 and 2 era there was none of that. Of course some writers made dumbass comments that made them REALLY step into it (I wish we could remove the gameplay entirely) with no qualifiers ....or just extremely racist ones (you know who I am referring to) but none of that started until ME3 and DA2...gee I wonder why

fair point, I did not know you do not play campaign That said tho your topic should read MEAMP...not the entirety of MEA Seems like it can slide, Anthem is a multiplayer game after all. not "just" as it can be played solo. That is de facto rather than de juro It was also marketed as playable solo so word of God is in this side of the argument too

You mean what javelin and abilities i use? I usually switch it up alot but currently its blast seal: Lightening Strike, Focus Seal: Frost Shard, Weapon Artina's Gambit and Devastator. Im on default Xbox One controls Alright, Artina's Gambit has a good sign for when to cancel reload. As the clip insertion matches the exclusive explosion animation feature of this weapon. Second, the best way to practice cancel reload that I'm aware of is with this piece of Gear (Voltaic Dome); As this piece of gear is a hold down to make use of it's charges gear and that it's animation lasts as long as you hold the button down. Why it's great of practicing reload canceling. So with that Gambit weapon, tap the Voltaic Dome gear button as soon as you see your Gambit weapon cause that blue explosion to cut rest of reload animation and immediately proceed to shooting again. (Also, don't tap the Voltaic Done button too fast as it won't register) at this point it is not just that As I have proven you can remove reloading from the game altogether in Andromeda and without an animation glitch His point is kinda moot now Seems to be SP exclusive. Pity, as I'm MP exclusive. Therefore thread title still stands. fair point, I did not know you do not play campaign That said tho your topic should read MEAMP...not the entirety of MEA

I'm beginning to wonder whether the lack of a stats page in Anthem is really just a stupid oversight, or whether it was intentionally left out because it's near impossible to extract meaningful stats from its broken internal mechanics. possible I mean did they not do similar shit with the mods in Andromeda where the maluses were hidden from the public

This is relevant I have said identical things before and, funny that, was labeled a troll and a negative toxic influence by certain people around here Prepare for a lot more of those previously stalwart Anthem/Bioware defenders to sheepishly admit maybe there are some critical flaws in the game now that even the casualest of casuals are finally reaching full Masterwork javelins. Of course the percentage of them who admit to being wrong before and offer anything in the way of a mea culpa for their misplaced faith in the game and Bioware is infinitesimal. oh of course Im just waiting for the quiet execution of Anthem to say "I told you so" and hopefully the message will be properly sent at that point. Whether they learned anything or not will be seen in DA4 and the next Mass Effect. Otherwise, well, let's hope for outer worlds and cyberpunk

It’s putting you in the shoes of your character, seeing things literally from their perspective. It’s a powerful tool for telling the story. 3rd person creates a layer of separation from you and your character. IMO In books 3rd person perspectives have a similar effect where it feels like you are reading about bob instead of experiencing with bob. Also on a practical scale as Terminator Force mentioned it allows you to see more details in things like facial animations of those you are talking with. but it forces less cinematic angles...less dynamic interactions...it precludes you from looking at your character and his reactions Im not sure how much the benefits overshadow the drawbacks

right And I am saying you can make EVERY weapon a no reload weapon...vintage heat sink mod Alright, will keep that in mind and give it a try. just research vintage heat sink, craft the weapon you want, slap the vintage heat sink mid during crafting and there you have it..it reduces the clip size but no reload.
