Do characters possess a zone of conzrol in combat so that fighters cant run willy nilly past enemies without incurring penalties? Well if you try to run past enemy they will automatically attack you. And vice versa?

Your parents were about to sell the real estate when you agreed on keeping the house and providing funds for everyday expense, because they cant provide for house and themselves anymore. Hmmm still not the kind of setup I would imagine for a Freestar Collective origin but let's see what kind of character I settle on. You could also design a twist with an unfriendly family member. A plot to ruin the brother. And the banks swooping in to gobble it all up. Now it's the children trying to keep legacy and parents.

From the brief look at the parents in the presentation they looked pretty well off in their stylish house Also, they do get your money after all. I think it would be cool if we could actually decide if we want to give them money or not and their living conditions would depend on that. Right. The parents looked well off which is weird, why would YOU send them money then?? This would only be cool if they were poor and living in a shitty place somewhere on a backwater colony and you can send money and eventually they'll live in a nice house. Now THAT would be immersive. Kids Stuff really has me confused. Sounds great on paper but from the snippet in the Direct, it's not what I expected. Your parents were about to sell the real estate when you agreed on keeping the house and providing funds for everyday expense, because they cant provide for house and themselves anymore.

Yeah, I mean, current deep learning ANNs are basically classifying machines. But then, that's very likely exactly how the evolution of "natural" intelligence started out, so there we are. Well, I don't think we should make AIs even if we could, but fortunately I suspect it is altogether impossible. At best, we might be able to create a convincing simulacrum of consciousness. And ChatGPT isn't close to even that. I ran my own version of the Turing Test by asking it "What is love?" and it did not respond with "Baby don't hurt me," thereby proving its inhumanity. But how much longer could you use that? Younger generations might not know the song - and the 'correct' answer.

The reapers attack the capital worlds first and ME3 leaves no doubts it's more or less short work. Pops are erased in the billions and there is no sugarcoating. ME prepared for the big galactic holocaust and it's what we got. Beating the reapers and inserting Shepard into the various colour buckets opens the possibility of pops surviving on more remote worlds. After the trilogy I always said that I wouldnt like anither gane that tries to sirpass these stakes, but then we got genetically genocidal Kett. I feel they are trapped in the illusions game have to have world threatening fate loom over the story. I'm sick of genocide - had enough of it.

Not on a space station though. Unless it's a hidden asteroid base or so. The game doesn't explain exactly how the Reapers moved the Citadel to Earth (cue "space magic" jokes), but I assume it happened quickly enough that most people weren't able to evacuate. If C-Sec is still able to communicate, I'd think they would have issued whatever the Citadel's equivalent is of a "shelter in place" order. I certainly don't think that places like the Presidium Commons shops or the Purgatory club would be operating normally. I think the real problem would rather be having the transport capacity to evacuate population at the scale of planetary numbers. Has to be passenger grade with life support, not bulk freighter. If course you can space magic it, then again we wouldn't have had the best end boss: Marauder Shields.

What's odd is that, in the scene where Shepard is talking to the Catalyst and the arms are visible in the background, you can see little points of light moving around, presumably from vehicles. I just assume that most of the population are hiding and I'm seeing automated empty vehicles - it's hard to imagine that the residents are just going about their daily lives under the circumstances. Man if I lived in that universe and was there when the Reapers invaded I'd be terrified and hiding. Not on a space station though. Unless it's a hidden asteroid base or so.

Yeah, my playthrough of D:OS2 was about a hundred hours and I think I was pretty thorough. It wouldn't surprise me if BG3 turned out to be the longest RPG I've ever played to completion. I got about half the story after playing 1.5 months most. Then I quit. Games nees to come to an end eventually - it was just too much.

Worked better than the endings. You dont always need pan-galactic holocaust to tell a decent story. I thought neither worked that well but the combination of both was the real headscratcher for me. There's a reason why no one tried to make an action comedy about the battle of Stalingrad... yet. But people liked it so we got more of the same in MEA. I settled with Marauder Shields ending. Story-wise the trilogy flew apart and in the end I didn't play it for the ending but for the crisp MP combat.

I still think Citadel DLC always felt wrong. The only context where I could enjoy it is completely separately from the trilogy and pretending they are unrelated. Just happen to have the same lore and characters, what a funny coincidence. Citadel DLC is just a shorter name for The Mass Effect Holiday Special. It just can't be taken seriously. Some frigging Shepard clone - and not even a particularly competent one - is the reason "to bring the entire team back" because it's such a big, big threat. Who cares what those little robo-Cthulhus are doing out there while the crew is having a laugh and a party. Worked better than the endings. You dont always need pan-galactic holocaust to tell a decent story.

No mention of multiclassing in this one. I know they were planning on implementing it and hopefully it'll make it in at launch. We'll see if it gets mentioned at the PfH. Isn't that prone to minmax metagaming? I'd rather pick an interesting class without having to find out I shoulda picked XY at level 5 in order to be able to beat the game after 150h in.

Maybe they let them finish DA. When it isnt good enough dont expect anything coming from Bioware anymore. We had the bell tolling now over a decade but I think Anthem pushed the cart over the edge. BW has bled so much talent - they cant do their core anymore, their face is too tired. EA activates what assets they still have left to cobble together something of a game but today they dont even have Walters anymore who pulls the cart out the mud with same old trick.

I re-watched the Direct and I still can't believe they put the Adoring Fan in...with the same voice actor and haircut as in Oblivion! Also, that "kid stuff" really gives you parents you can interact with...and that you give them money. Also, the fauna looks incredible. There even is a culinary skill tree. I hope it includes fish. Imagine alien kale! New fruit as topping for pizza. The possibilities are endless. And the mods...

Only you can answer. I did only play TW3. TW1 I stopped during prologue when I found no chest to dump inventory and after enemies spawned way behind and killed the escort target. TW2 I had twice trouble with QT events, once I repeated a dozen times until I looked up how to do it. I stopped at the endfight for 1st act at bossfight in a tiny room I just couldnt win.

They took so much inspirations of other games - it's gotta be a "biotic" skill tree section. Those abilities are either going to be similar to dragon shouts powers since the artifacts "talks to you" and/or require using neuro-amps which were mentioned in a background trait description. The main inspiration for Starfield, Traveller TTRPG, has Psionics too, so that's probably the type of power we will get access to. As long as I'm gonna beat shit up and ragdoll them I'm fine. The talking artifacts gives me a bit of a ME1 vibe.

Looks like I was wrong when I said that the shooting reminded me of MEA, but it had proper melee instead of "biotics". There was a quick scene where the PC use "force push" with his left hand. Now the question is if we can spec only in that and make a Space Wizard! Or if it's super limited. They took so much inspirations of other games - it's gotta be a "biotic" skill tree section.

100s of millions. It's always easy to crank up the narrative holocausts in stories for big effects and emotions, but once someone asks about the implications there is just cheap hand-waiving and appeasing ass-pulls.

RT doesnt change any gameplay. The only thing that it really can do better is lighting in buildings. Through windows and that. Can be more immersive but is that really worth the investment when the gameplay is just the same?

Cerberus is the best faction. The have sexy chicks a diverse roster with decent challenge. The chunky robot is well announced by audio and can be beaten with proper preparation The phantom is a well-done medium boss that mixes up routine and invades player comfort zone while offering a very cordial sync kill animation. And the faction doesnt have the stagger bollocks of others.
