Lately. there's been some Civ V. But mostly, I immerse myself in Kerbal Space Program, something that has kept most of my attention for a good 20 months or so now. Other games that has got played occasionally: Inquisition, Master of Orion 2, Dungeon Keeper (I).

I actually preferred the combat system from 1. It felt more in line with the lore of the game. In 2, it felt more like the devs just hit a check box. When I first played Mass Effect, I thought it was alright, though the ability cooldown times are a bit long. But I do enjoy the faster combat from the following games a bit more, so now I'm kind of missing that in the first game. Right now I'm still just shuffling around the Citadel scanning keepers and fighting a few baddies here and there. I'll probably get back into the combat system once there's actually some real action. 'I sincerely hope you're kidding. Your "real action" normally ends up with me patching up crewmembers in the infirmary.'
Sorry. Couldn't resist.

I am finally going full force into the Witcher 3. It has some serious flaws for my play style but there is no denying that so far it is a very very good game with lots of very good meaningful quests. When I am done I will post my thoughts on it in the Witcher thread but am avoiding spoilers for now.
I also play at least a couple of matches of daimp a night and really should start playing more or me3mp again. was VERY rustywhen i fired it up about a month ago. Will also have to get the new deus ex as well as I liked the previous games.

I am finally going full force into The Witcher 3. Have fun! It's a seriously amazing, deep game with a wonderful story. Just riding around on Roach taking in the landscapes is very relaxing sometimes. Can't wait to dive back in once I'm done with Mass Effect. I will have you know that I am a very capable commander and my squadmates never end up in the infirmary! They'll probably die a lot, first time playing on the hardest available difficulty after breezing through for the story on easy the first time.

Well, I just got an invitation to the Battlefield 1 beta (and I didn't preorder or anything), so I guess I know what I will be playing when I get home...

Playing The Technomancer. Well after reading the critics on the net I thought the game would be much worse. Honestly it's not that bad. I like the fight system, the environnement even if you have to do plenty of return trip... well I think I'm just happy to play a SF RPG XD BTW The new Ace Attorney "spirit of justice" is coming on 3DS soon (september 8th), I can't wait for it I love those games so much

Witcher 3: Blood and Wine. Really enjoying it so far. Absolutely beautiful location that seems less demanding than the main game areas.
I only play on Sword and Story, action combat not really being my jam, but found the first three mini-bosses to be good challenges, though two of them were rather similar to each other.
Also traipsing through th Frostback Basin in DA:I. Not sure exactly what is going wrong, unless it's my party combination, but it seems significantly harder than the base game. Again, beautiful area though.

I'm getting that itch for a 2nd time through the Witcher 3....a NG+ and do all the expansions on a harder difficulty.
But oh....how many hours of my life that'll soak up!

"The Descent" caters to whatever level you're at, but Jaws of Hakkon is lots harder.

That's the thing. I'm post-Final Corypheus battle. Level 27. All gear is Tier 3 or 4.
I'm just getting wiped every second or third encounter. Some of it is clear. Damned bogfishers getting aggro' from miles away, but sometimes...a single Hakkonite Spy can one hit each member of the team.
Playing on Nightmare, but still....I have been since the start of this playthrough.
I'm sure I'll work it out, I just don't want to revert to my 'go-to' party of Cass, Blackwall and Sera. Just feels like cheating at this point.

Descent was certainly challenging, especially that one cave that's one fire at the start and there are the waves of darkspawn...and you can't save....or leave....good times... I've only played one other Dragon Age game (Origins) on nightmare to completion. I usually just start and stay on hard. Say what you like about DA2, it's nightmare mode was just that.

I just started (and I can't believe that I'm writing this ) to play The Division again.. Only bought the game because I wanted to play it with a friend. It looked promising at first but when we reached endgame there wasn't much to do really so we abandoned it about one or two months after release. I don't think that it will hold our interest much longer this time but trying out again doesn't hurt.. (also: bought the game for 60€.. I want to get some hours out of it in order to justify spending that much money.. ugh)

Small tip on higher difficulties (i've used this on death march and worked like a charm) Invest in Aard to take out the smaller groups of enemies. And then for bosses or larger enemies Igini with Dancing Star bomb, firstly the bomb so enemies get caught on fire and then igini, as soon as they are not on fire anymore throw another bomb and repeat, they burn to a crisp very fast. (First play through i did medium difficulty then jumped into death march, and was so simple!)

I got my hands on the Nioh beta demo. Love it, but am struggling with the controls.
I need guard to be at L1 and attack to be at R1 because Dark Souls. I can only have one or the other for some reason, and I'm consistently pressing the wrong button for something and getting myself killed.
Low stance Uchigatana forever. Well, until I get smacked. I'm pouring points into dexterity for shurikens because I feel lost without some sort of ranged attack.

I'm playing through Dark Souls 3 right now and just beat the 3rd boss of the game, I've only died 7 times so far I think. I also bought Divinity: Original Sin on the PlayStation store during the last good sale so I have my fill of RPG games right now to play.

Divnity original sin is good. Just be careful what classes you pick, as you'll need a healer very early on. Regeneration is one of the best healing spells in the game. Decent cool down, decent healing, and decent effect time. All around, good spell to have on any character.

I touched Kingdoms of Amalur again, I'm in the "wow massively underrated holy smokes this is good" camp as far as that game goes. I didn't expect the game to be good at first. I was pleasently suprised though. Especially the gameplay made it fun for me. BTW if someone wants to buy this game and/or its dlcs : they are currently on sale in steam (for about the next six hours).

I am playing the original Divinity trilogy for the first time. I loved the first one, Beyond Divinity was such a pain in the *** but I managed to complete it somehow. Now I am playing Divinity 2 and I was really having a blast 'til I went to the Fiords. I hate that place so much. I was totally lost, I had to look for a walktrough and then I was lost again..that map is so frustrating! For the first time in my life I had to take a break from a game and I haven't touched my PC since the end of July. I just can't decide if I must drop it, save it for later or just keeping on and try to complete it.. You know, until today I have never left a game incomplete, I don't want this to be my first time.

Suffering eternal torment with DX:MD's implementation of Czech language. VO done by our voice artists is flawless, but everything else…… awful grammar, misspelled words, right words used in wrong context, half the female surnames with slavic -ová added to them, half without it, majority of people speaking English with russian accent…… Don't get me wrong, it's great game and I'm enjoying it, but this is rage-inducing. But, on the other hand, this one time I tried to talk to a girl and she said: Nerozumím Anglicky. (I don't understand English.) and I was like: Tak mluv Česky, krávo blbá! (So speak Czech, you stupid cow!) so it's not all bad.
Also, preorder/DLC tranq gun is very much awesome and worth all the money they charge for it.
