I started playing Borderlands The Pre-Sequel yesterday. I took advantage it is (or was) on sale on Steam. I am doing a solo run as The Baroness and so far it is a very enjoyable game. I don't think I will keep playing it for tens of hours doing loot farming and stuff, but as a campaign game it is very fun. Maybe I will get to do some co-oping if I find some friendly noobs like myself.
Other than that, I still play a few Evolve matches pretty much every night with some buddies.
I bought Battleborn some time ago and I was looking forward to having some fun with it but damn, that is one weird game. It is like a parody of Borderlands on Steroids. Also it is pretty damn hard (virtually impossible) to find public games at late night, so yeah, I would advise people staying away from this game.
I have Overwatch installed here but I am finding it too boring right now. Also its playerbase is full of impolite kids. I play like a match or two every now and then.
Some other games which I am willing to buy as soon as they go on sale (and as soon I am done with what I am currently playing) are XCOM 2 and Shadow of Mordor.

On Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. Been looting items, selling what I don't need, and hoard my favorite items in my safehouse, heh heh. Story-wise, I'm about to hit Golem City very soon.

After finishing up with a Deus Ex replay using the Mega-Mod "Revision", I've been sneaking around as Garret in Thief II: The Metal Age. The objectives feel more in tune with the art of thieving than what I usually see: Eavesdropping, Framing Someone through some careful placement of "evidence" - reminds me of Assassins' Creed a little bit. I ended up finding entirely new ways to traverse through(or on) buildings, and one new piece of dialogue. Same with Deus Ex, they've got great replayability.
Sepia Filters and Dorky Hairdos. Looking Glass, Please.
Tools of the trade between the two are wildly different, though - Thief is definitely built for sneaking, with its swordplay resembling rock em' sock em' robots. I just can't use any guns besides the sniper rifle in Deus due to its scope. Diverting all the skill points into one gun also makes the wait time for reticles far better. I think that moving-reticle system kinda worked better in Mass Effect. Developers can use bits like that as abstractions to actual gun recoil, but 10 second waits on a pistol seems way too unrealistic. Would a 6-Million Dollar Man really be that flimsy with a noisy cricket? Eh, melee and snipin's still fun anyway. That revision mod is godlike, by the way. The gameplay stays the same, but everything's been reskinned with better textures and a more varied color pallete; The boring greys of most buildings has been given an extreme makeover. Hong Kong, Unatco, and a few other spots have enough expansion to its levels that it felt like an entirely new area. Mostly because it was.

At the very next opportunity, I will be playing some Uniracers. I played a bit yesterday morning and it was glorious. All these years later and I still know where the shortcuts are. Well, yeah, the tracks sort of tell you where they are, but I know they're coming.

####ing Fallout IV - in survival mode. I still forget to sleep regularly to save. Gah! Not really a good mechanic in buggy games to remove save features. No fast travel is becoming a bit annoying - that's why I'm questing to unlock vertibirds. Combat difficulty doesn't really seem to be that harder. Illness stuff also seems to hit kinda arbitrarily, so apart from tighter combat it's mostly adding some busiwork - I might change the difficulty at some point down again.

Just finished Witcher 3 NG+ mode only to discover I can't start another plus game from a NG+ save. So I'm off to Fallout 4, second playthrough. I'm thinking about getting some DLCs first, though.

Been playing Borderlands 2 recently, will likely play the first one some more for old times sake. (And while I love the second one, I like the first better).
Dark Souls 3 I've played some more, and I intend to play more. I have a good friend who helps me a lot, so until I get fully accustomed I am with him. Going to play more DS1 when I get the chance.
Halo 5, I play that daily. Also have a clan on it I just started. Farming kids in Warzone is pretty boring though, I require Arena teams. Something... I don't have.
Battlefield 4, it was only five dollars so why not? I am actually enjoying it a lot.

Any... important-looking things in Golem city that would help distinguish which part of Prague it actually is? Honestly speaking, I have no idea where geographically Golem City is located in Prague, considering it was basically a prison camp that was built from the ground up in the context of the game placed in some ass-end of nowhere, kind of like Cairo's twin skyscrapers in Call of Duty: Black Ops 3. The only thing I know of is the design is inspired by the Kowloon Walled City in China.

I saw the game movie, and it's one of the poorer iterations of the Capital. Call of Duty got Prague better, as a matter of fact, though it was not flawless either. They could not be bothered enough to research first names, either.

Mordheim: City of the Damned.
Boy, does that game stress me out and gets my blood pressure up when my warband's best heroes get murdered in some frigging side alley by some lucky skaven wretch. But then again, it's a hardcore squad tactics game in constant iron man mode with some really harsh scenarios. Good if you are looking for a tense game, not so much if you play to relax.

Just finished Mankind Divided. My overall impression is that while it's better than Human Revolution design-wise, it could have used a few more months of polishing in the QA department. Minor glitches can ruin the experience (i.e. Framerate dips negatively affect the precision needed for remote hacking; bodies disappearing into the floor after knocking them out). My personal game of 2016, roughly an 8 out of 10..

NiGHTS into Dreams! archive.kontek.net/sonic.planets.gamespy.com/wallpapers/nights/nidwp002_1024x768.jpgIt can take a little bit to learn the ropes since there's no tutorial and it can seem a little disorientating at first but once you do, it is very fun and becomes oddly relaxing! The game plays great with the exception of a few things, it looks great, got some great bosses that are wierd but in a good way especially the last one and the music is phenomenal! I've seen a lot of playthroughs of the sequel, NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams, and I liked what I saw so I've ordered it. I'm really excited to play it! Oh god, I really want a third NiGHTS game! Note: It is the HD version avaliable on Steam that I've got. I don't own a Sega Saturn or the original version of the game. I was three when the game was first released.

8 years old, and the day’s arrived to lay her to rest. After selling my old PC in 2007 and holding onto a red-ringed paperweight, the PS3 looked like a nice alternative and it’s been kicking ass ever since… but it seems its days are finally numbered. Decided to make the most of the time by playing a I’d previewed a bit online, but never tried hands-on. It’s a rhythm-based Visual Novel with 4X Strategy elements called Bulletstorm. Produced by People Can Fly, it’s become a cult classic that’s earned said title for good reason. This thing’s got brilliant gameplay design. It’s very easy to get in a “groove” for combat-centered gameplay; You find a handful of abilities or just a gaming style that top the alternatives, and then stick with it for the rest of the game. Bulletstorm appropriately avoids this by making every gun, every move, and a good chunk of its world your canvas for a wealth of opportunity. Ever rammed someone to death with an explosive hot dog cart? Talk about a sausage fest. These inspired, albeit real fucking weird combinations of attack earn you skill points, useful for upgrades and adding some ammo along the way. Unlike many RPG elements that often pop up now in shooters, Bulletstorm rewards players for *how* they achieve victory - not just how *many* idjits you defeat. A normal death earns 10 points, whereas pulling off one of over one-hundred of these skills earns you 500. The RPG grinding formula’s one of my biggest pet peeves, and it’s good to see a lesser-known developer try something new to alleviate that sort of thing. Even without Skillpoints, pulling off tricks this ridiculous are rewarding in and of themselves. Also, they’ve all got punny names. Most weapons are based on tried-and-true weaponry, but twist them in weird ways I.e. a 4-barreled shotgun, a sniper rifle with curveable bullets, and of course launching Giant Corkscrews & Cannonball Bombs. The creative & chaotic gameplay is a perfect fit to a world as gonzo as this. The story is…out of an NES game, or a bored elementary-schooler doodling in class. You’re seeking revenge against an evil general: Both of he and you are knocked onto a planetary vacation resort with robotic lizards donning laser eyes, disco bars, and I’m pretty sure a 10-story wheel of heavy metal is running around there somewhere. Perhaps it doesn’t need to make sense; It’s entertainment, and they’ve got that pushed up to 11. Set piece nutbaggery is one slice of that pie, banter is the other. Your comrade Ishi and Dudebrotagonist Steve-Blum-Meets-Jack-Black have surprisingly sharp writing that’s a fair contender with Saints Row The Third, jumping between the sarcastic, parodic, and the homoerotic. Voice actress Jennifer Hale tags along later on, doing a sailor-mouthed rendition of FemShep. Oddly enough, the late-game story’s not half bad, and actually avoids a misstep that a recent Comic Book Movie may have been guilty of. Playing Bulletstorm was like eating Golden Doritos: It wears Buddy-Shooter heavily on its shoulders, but the gears under the hood are surprisingly robust and offer more creativity than the typical shooter fest. This is a great game. J Reccomended if you enjoy: Shadow Warrior(New), Serious Sam, Painkiller, Barbie‘s Hot Dog Cart Exploding Adventures, or Gears of War. Other games played: The Darkness II: More Story-Focused sequel with better balance and variety than the original. Jenny's role is a bit more interesting this round, and the use of light against Jackie makes for a much greater challenge. That relic narration tho... Attack on Titan: Gameplay's surprisingly satisfying, Cutscenes and such match the first season just fine. Budget isn't God of War big, but it still looks great. I'd almost have preferred to play the game over the show. Good game. The Longest Journey:(Replay). Forgot how witty that dialogue is, Fiona's great. I remember how nutty these puzzles were. Damn you, Obtuse Rubber Duckies. Thanks to GameFAQs for allowing me to get through these darn things. But yep, still an ahead-of-its-time adventure game. Planescape: Torment:(Replay). Enjoyed the factional quests more this round: Dustmen Bar quests involved the existential blues, while Godsmen has a Greco-Roman Homerian Git-Gud-Or-Prepare-To-Die thing going on. I tried selling FFG to Vrischka, got some surprising dialogue.
