Sorry to bug you, but will the Explorer will be updated to work with Patch 1.06 or we are waiting on the next gen tool? It is not actually MEAExplorerWV itself that became outdated with the 1.06 patch. Just the existing .meamod's and .ebx.bin's as they are dependent on the specific file structure that was used to create them. The original creators should be able to remake any mods fairly easily it is just a matter of when they have the time (or the inclination). I bit of poking around the the Explorer and you can learn to remake them yourself. I used to get right into the technical aspect of modding but have grown far too lazy now

Yeah, Normal went fine, but i could not see the changes applied, then exporting the diffuse map prevents the game from starting so back to square one... I think I am going to try to wrestle it back to being able to start it for now.

I can post back and say that I have done face texture swapping (this time 9 to 8 because of the lipstick applied to default Sara with 1.06) and the game does load. But at the same time any .meamod's made from 1.05 will make the game crash during the 'loading shaders' bit before the main menu. This goes even for mods that effect files that should not have changed during the patch according to the patch notes, I think much more was changed than is included in the notes so best for now to steer clear of all 1.05 mods.

BTW I have no involvement in coding those tools. This tool in particular is made by Ehamloptiran (Main coder behind DAI ModMaker) Great thing, do you know by any chance, if this will allow for mesh editing also? I know, not the tool in itself, but exporting and reimporting?

The sooner someone makes a mod so that constructs stay on field even after favorite switching, the better. There's already a mod to cut out the cooldown on switch, so that's the last thing we need. On top of more enemy spawns, IMO.

It seems they released it for a bunch of people for beta testing, we have to wait a little bit longer but really soon. My photoshop is ready for this! can't wait for it , I'm tired of hex editing to change textures that already exists .
