Well too bad on the Free games. I'm definitely not bothering with the premier whatever, I hardly buy any games from EA except those made by Bioware. The bulk of my games are from Steam and GOG.

Do you have to get the original from a specific platform or something? If Disney doesn't make a fuss and this mod goes through, you only need to own the original PC KOTOR game; available on Steam. The mod is free, the creators are not charging a single cent nor are they asking for donations because it's a fan project. It's a small team and they're adding / working whenever they're free so it's slow going. One of them streams his "working KOTOR hours" on Twitch every weekend. You can see the development in progress. |

The protag for the expansion is likely female. Not that it makes any difference since the first protag is a "place holder" with no personality and no voice. It's just an avatar that players assume control of.
