I quit for about 2 weeks. Came back and having fun discovering new kits/weapons etc.
nade and concussion shot spam with the new 30% equipment wrecks face.
The remnant VI is actually surprisingly effective. Really having fun with that little SOB.
Its the powers-- combos finally feel effective. They feel good.

ME:A's MP is a huge step backwards from what we had in ME3's MP. Even comparing both at launch. ME3 had community goals every few weeks that insentivised more people to play. They had better designed maps, less latency problems, more gun mods and gear mods, better tech trees, better combo detonations and more diverse skill sets in characters.
ME:A MP just feels like adhi/wraith spam and it gets old fast having something chew on ur leg every time you hit the reload button. Every time an enemy spawns directly behind me in Gold, i just wanna smack the designer upside the head and say 'NO! Bad dev!'

You check your flanks, scope in, and are suddenly getting anointed right in the ear.

There's still a long road... but this is definitely a start. The game is actually playable, it's not superb, but fun is actually allowed now.

Every time an enemy spawns directly behind me in Gold, i just wanna smack the designer upside the head and say 'NO! Bad dev!' Eh this is a little unfair it took a while for ME3 to balance out in terms of equipment. At the beginning it wasn't even a thing. Also now that combos are fixed they are pretty devastating on a combo build much easier to set off and even chain on the right character setups. Skill sets could stand for a little diversity but to expect much before even the first DLC drops is a bit much. Also Tech trees were bland before the update but since power damage has become respectable getting bonuses to damage as opposed to utility upgrades depends now on playstyle rather than only one build works well. Map design is a bit of an issue some maps feel like you can easily be flanked especially because of enemy spawns, Icebreaker and Derelict are the worse offenders, also its really easy to find yourself exposed in Paradox, but Magma and Sandstorm are great, even Zero although its a bit played out. Its a shame about community events that is one thing this game would do great to have.

Before patch 1.06. I was interested in playing only 6-7 characters.
After patch 1.06... I think I will play with all of them.
