I looked at the AC’s set up a few times, and I did not quite like it enough to try the game out. Now, if the game was based off a research laboratory in the far future infiltrated and used by a roguish customizable protagonist of either sinister or happy-go-lucky bend, with a couple of uber-cool Indiana Jonses on his/her trail, sometimes trying to capture and thwart him/her, sometimes forced to work with him/her to prevent a historic calamity, hell, yes! Where do I sign up for that future meets costume drama video-game?!

Nobody but BioWARE makes the sort of games I like, so… Andromeda it is!

Assassin's Creed. I own AC3 because it took place during the pre-Revolutionary War days of early Colonial America. I was so excited, but when for every cringe and bug-filled moment I had in Andromeda, multiply it by 10 with AC3. Ubisoft... please. F*** Ubisoft. Never preorder from them unless you're a technical troubleshooter wunderkind.

I picked the wrong game in the series to dive into the franchise. Remember when Inquisition came out and was still missing the walk function and gaming mouse support? Holy crap. AC 3 never got past the opening sequence of being in the ship for about three months on PC. The mechanics were kinda cool using flintlock rifles, but overall... well, I got past the first mission and thought, "They're going to screw this up." And they did. The last full purchase of Ubisoft I ever make again.
