In my last playthrough I usually had Jaal and Cora. I like thier mutual respect and Cora's powers are a good supplement to my Ryder's Sniping. Jaal is just there for the romance.  Next time I'm thinking Peebee and Drack. |

Drack/Vetra is nice. They really get along well and relate with raising Kesh and Sid. I also enjoyed Drack/Jaal, Jaal/Liam, and Jaal/Peebee.
I didn't care for the antagonistic fighting ones. Vetra/Liam was really bad. I wanted to pull over and get away from them, but I was on H-047C.

My favorite duos generally involve Drack. There are some times when Drack isn't there, if I think a different companion might contribute better or make more sense for the story. Small example, when bringing Jaal on Liam's loyalty mission.
Liam: Sure, we don't know what we're up against. Neither do they. Trojan horse simple.
Jaal: What's a….horse, and how do we know there's air out there?
His response is generally my favorite, and I think Liam's weird bromance with Jaal makes it the best option to bring along.

Liam/Peebee - they are fun together
Liam/Drack - Drack practically adores Liam and tries to hide it which is hilarious
Liam/Cora - they have interesting conversations
And Liam/Vetra? If you listen to them carefully, she practically mothers him. And he cares about her. They even talk about movies in the end.

I always bring along Liam and Vetra almost all the time with me, despite the constant fighting between them at the beginning I love those two together. Basically they're my favorite characters and they get along eventually over time.
Other mentions: Liam and Jaal because grenades, grenades everywhere and they are the best bros of course.
Honorable mention: Liam and Drack make a good pair as well but that old grumpy grandpa doesn't make it easy for Liam at the beginning but it was all just a front, they are adorable together really.

Not really a fan of Cora, I dont like taking her after I have another option (vetra, usually, replaces her early on).
I like Vetra, Drack, Peebee, and Jaal all pretty equally, and try to swap them out on occasion based on what I'm doing. I'll usually keep whoever my romance interest is in the party all the time, and swap the second member for whoever fits the content. My first playthrough I romanced vetra so always had her around, and ended up keeping jaal as the second for most of the game. On my current playthrough I'm keeping peebee, and swapping between drack and jaal.
