Next Mass Effect Game Release Date

Put it this way,

By the time ME5 comes out, we will be comparing it to the by-then classic Cyberpunk 2077.

So, basically, not for another 5-8 years.

2020 at the earliest.

2018: 'Dylan'
2019: Dragon Age 4
2020: Mass Effect Andromeda 2 or some new project we haven't heard about yet.

i have had a glimpse of the game.

If all goes well, that sounds about right.

The day we create the first contact war and meet the Turians.

I'm thinking circa 2020-2021.

If they didn't reduce the staff at BioWare Montreal I would have expected a new release date for Q4 2020, but with an actual release for Q1 2021 since that would mean they went into full production right after finishing Andromeda like when they went from Mass Effect 2 to Mass Effect 3. Since they aren't going into full production right away I figure its going to be Q4 2021/ Q1 2022.

Since they aren't going into full production what I am hoping is that they are getting systems into place to help prevent the mistakes that happened during the development of Andromeda for a better release candidate.

10 years ago fanatical fans of a legendary sci-fi adventure were left hanging......
