Now I'm curious if Arsenal/Reserve packs have any sway on if the UR is a character or weapon. Uhh... read the patch notes bro? Only applied to rares in 3, which makes sense, but still a chance it only applies to rares here. turdbro

but seriously, I know they will add the possibility to change light colour on some suits, but do they think about adding some new colour finish for armors ? In ME2-ME3, you could change the tint to make the pait look more matte or glossy. It would be nice to bring this in Andromeda.

New questions. A few of my own: "What is the design intent behind sync kills? It’s not fun as a player to spend most of a wave in spectator mode, particularly when you got sync’d due to off-host connection issues." "1.08 made improvements to basic melee attack damage almost across the board, yet jump-melee was untouched. What was the design rationale behind this decision?" And yours: Only applied to rares in 3, which makes sense, but still a chance it only applies to rares here. "Regarding the new 1.08 packs, Reserves and Arsenal: does the improved chance for characters and weapons respectively affect the Rare chances, the Ultra-Rare chances, or both?" Something about whether it's working as intended that the health pack doesn't grant any brief damage immunity like it did in ME3MP? "In ME3, the First Aid Pack equivalent (Ops pack) granted brief damage and stagger immunity (i-frames), which made it more useful for skilled play. Why does premium packs contain level 1 and level 2 boosters? Shouldn't it be top tier consumables only?
Why does the new jumbo pack only grant level 1 boosters along the supplies?

I don't know if this is an issue in-game (I'm at work right now) but in the app, it shows the random mod options even though I have all mods maxed out. I tried buying one of each (common, uncommon, rare) and each time it just stalled out with the spinning wheel. I pressed the back button to get back to the store and it still ate my mission funds. (Edit: I filed a bug report - answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/Apex-App-store-issue/m-p/6104116) TLDR: If you have maxed out mods, don't try buying random mods.

Why are Sync kills needed in game? Bastiaan says with every enemy you can deal with it. If you want to overpower all the players' tools have to do so much damage that it becomes spikey and players die quickly. To add some threat within a wave, so that an enemy has to be watched out for, that's where sync kills come in. Design itent is there is a good tell - "this enemy is about to sync me" - "I need to respond now" - hasn't always worked visually audially, made some improvements.
