What a glorious beard

That is a cool looking Qunari, very unique. I'm super jealous about PC players that can mod the Reaver armour into their games, suits him well. It's just so fucking pretty. *grabby hands*

Say hello to the newest addition to my ever-growing cast of Inquisitors: Cara Trevelyan, a dual-wielding rogue with trust issues and sarcastic nature. She's ambitious and has next to no moral code: there is almost nothing she wouldn't do to meet her goals, whatever those might be. She's a self-taught thief and a mercenary with little interest towards the Chantry, which has severed her relationship with her family. Cara was practically raised by an apostate she befriended at young age. Her actions as a mage made Cara respect magic, but not trust it, and despite this friendship she views Circles as a necessary bad to keep the mages in control.

Cara got her numerous scars when she unintentionally angered a Fereldan doglord with her snarky comments and this humourless dog owner made his mabari attack her, leaving her throat and face scarred, and Cara with a fear of dogs and resentment towards Fereldan people in general. She's quick to form opinions and reluctant to change them, her trust and respect are hard won but easily lost, and once you lose them, you lose them for good. Cara is rash and tends to act before thinking (which tends to get her in trouble more often than not), and she's very easily bored when nothing interesting is happening. Her interests change like the wind and she's what one might call "an unreliable narrator"; she's prone to over-exaggerate and over-dramatize things, but hey, at least she's a good storyteller.

Tl;dr: Cara is an immoral thief and a liar who dislikes dogs and is easily bored, who has no interest in leading anything and who will do whatever it takes to reach her goals. She also has trust issues, but she protects her very few friends to the death and to them, she's loyal to a fault.

Oh, and she loves that lipstick more than anything.


I await with eagerness how Cara'll turn out to be! She's quite different from other characters I've played, and I've yet not decided who she'll romance (if she'll romance anyone), so this playthrough ought to be interesting.

I like the way he adds more consternation to the scene, after the conclave explosion, causing Leliana total misunderstanding, not only of the situation but of what she sees:
"Whay the hell is wrong with this guy ?!"
I bet her brain is in a total confusion for an instant, that's why, and the real reason she looks angry this way.

Just wanted to say that I love this thread, and everyone's creations! And I'm glad that it will continue (I hope it will...)

My first Inquisitor; mage Teyrna Trevelyan. Neutrally agnostic, she did start to believe a little bit that maybe she'd been chosen. Mid twenties. Distant from family from her long time in the Circle at that point, The Circle had always been home and her fellow mages had become her family. There were no abuses in her Circle, but she'd heard rumors of the abuses elsewhere. So when it came time to choose, especially with that problem of time magic... She allied with her family, the Mages. She had a thing for Blackwall and Cullen, but the mighty beard won out; until she'd found out it was all a lie and he'd murdered children. Heartbroken, she judged him to make his lie become reality. And when he asked to resume the relationship, she told him she could not trust him after all that. Seriously. Then promptly rebounded to Cullen. Unlike most rebounds, they stayed together and eventually Cullen proposed. Which she accepted. Other things; she learned that Briala and Celene still loved each other and got them back together. And didn't trust Morrigan at all... and was no stranger to magic, so she drank from the Well. since her only two close friends had been Cole and Solas (and she hated Viv with a passion,) she said she would try to redeem the egg head. She angrily disbanded the Inquisition; who wanted to be honor guard for Murder Pope Leliana?

Embry Mara Trevelyan; My youngest Quiz and aggressively atheist. Anti Noble Rogue who's childhood dream was to become a spy bard. Started as more of a Sera character, even had a fling with Iron Bull and angrily conscripted the mages. But when she accepted the title of Inquisitor, it was time to grow up, and she turned to Cassandra for mentorship. Was really impressed with Blackwall; really absorbed the idea of Grey Wardens as heros and just pretty much adored him. Was all sorts of upset when she found out he was a lie... But kept up her trend of idealistic redemption and let him return to being Thom. The idealism kept the Grey Wardens as Allies, and forced a truce between Celene, Gaspard, and Briala. As a rogue, she had no interest in magic and refused the Well of Sorrows. Her best friends were Dorian, Sera, and Cassandra. Her dream of being a bard was semi realized when her bestie, Sera, invited her to be a Red Jenny in Trespasser. She swore to stop Solas no matter what, as he had been respectful at best, rude and odd otherwise... and she angrily became her best friend's, Divine Cassandra, honor guard. Thom and Mara kept up their idealism and redemption goals by visiting various prisons. It was an amazeballs story arc, gotta tell ya.

Planned Quizzes:

Varas Trevelyan. Devoutly Andrastian Warrior.  Late twenties. Bisexual; dutiful to his mother to his detriment. Has always wanted to be a Templar, had been ready to take vows for years, but his mother has not allowed it. He is more "useful" to pass around as a political favor due to his dashing good looks. He even got the massive tattoo to try "ruin" his good looks, but it backfired as the nobles thought it made him look more exotic. He will flirt with Cassandra and Cullen because he admires their strength and Templar related personal histories. The moment he meets Dorian, however, he will be completely smitten and have eyes for no one else. When the Templar Specialization trainer comes, he realizes he finally has the freedom and power to overturn his mother's machinations and takes vows in the Skyhold Chantry (which he will have built pronto). Will obviously ally with the Templars. Not sure how he'll handle the rest of the choices; Winter Palace, Well, Solas, or Disband/Honor Guard. I'll see how the character feels about it as I play. This is the only Warrior I will ever play; only for you, Dorian. 

Anise Levellan; Mage Elf. I haven't settled on an age yet, but minimum is 40. A widower with two grown children; she has led an interesting life. (I intend to tie her to events from Origins, DA2, and she's been to at least 2 Arlathvhens.) May even make her connected to Briala in some way. (obviously all head cannon.) I'm polishing her special for a Solasmance as I've never successfully had one. Will most likely ally with the mages, drink from the Well, and disband regardless of who is Divine. Depending on how angry she is at Solas after the reveal, I do not know if she will redeem or hunt him down. I tried to make her age subtle but present; sunken cheeks, mild wrinkling, thinner lips, graying hair. I've pondered remaking her to have Mythal's tattoo but I also like the God of Secrets. 

Shayle Cadash; Carta "Queen" rogue, dual daggers, probably religiously apathetic with no stone sense. She will romance Josephine. Late twenties to early 30s. Has a half sister, ten years her junior, who does have stone sense-- I'll be playing both at once. The Half Sister will be a Carta "Princess" rogue who romances Sera. The game playing and resultant writing will alternate between two parallel universes depending on which sister went down the hallway at the Conclave to investigate the "noise." I plan on these concurrent play throughs to be full of feels as one sister wonders what the other could have been if they'd lived. What they would have done. Family love always equals feelz for me.


Where Shayle was dark, both in how she looked and how she dealt with the world, her sister was light... Shayle had been looking after her half sister her whole life. Mischa Nerav Cadash The only attribute that marks them obviously as sisters is their house brand and their vivid green eyes. Mischa is an archer, a skill her sister encouraged her on so that she would never directly be in the fray.



Appearance wise, Shayle is to be elegant, a natural leader that fought to the top, intelligent, sharp, suspicious... a little mean, when warranted. Mischa is meant to look innocent; a bit of a cry baby. Her sister has sheltered her from the worst of the life of the Carta.

I think the overall arc will be the two of them finding the middle ground they could never find in life; Shayle will softern, Mischa will find her strength...and happiness in spite of their loss of each other......Or something like that.

I also plan a Qunari mage play through where they may not romance any one at all. I had originally slotted my Qunari woman for Sera but then I realized the personality I had in mind would cause her to break up with Sera after the well of Sorrows. Anyone that looks up to Solas as a magical mentor will probably not get along with Sera post Well. I intend for her to have a severe identity crisis as she will see value in other cultures and the identity it gives people....anyway, I just don't know who she'd romance. Her identity crisis may match Sera's but the way they approach the problem will be completely different. So yeah, it'll probably be a Sera mance breakup.

An Elven Mage is slotted for Cass. And then I will probably do another Cullenmance, Elven mage style, minus the Blackwall. ^^ At that point, hopefully DA4 will be coming out.[/spoiler]
