So I went and did it through Custom match, since I had already sent my strike team to do the mission before I knew there was a pack tied to it.

It worked.

Pulled the Exemplar and a rank IV booster out of the pack.

Well, maybe spoiled by the "present" but hope it happens more regularly than once every 6 months (N7 = Nov. 7)!

I think it's just 2 guaranteed URs.

I didn't get any Rares, just a XP Booster IV (UR) and Angara Exemplar (UR).

Has a chance of pulling R/UR in the other slots as well, but my video game luck is not and probably will never be that good, so it's pretty safe to assume that anything that I get out of a pack is the base reward, lol.

Perhaps they learned their lesson from the chilly reception they got from their Advanced Pack for the SJW event.

Well, I think we can safely say I read a lot into a little, and that what I experienced was some wildly flukey math mixed with an odd bug that had a pretty small outside chance of even having all the right circumstances to express itself.

Out of two PSP's, I had the Kineticist and the Dhan, then the special pack gave me two Dhan unlocks, making three of my three Ultra Rare drops hit (the fourth being the guaranteed one) and three of the four Ultra Rare drops were Dhan unlocks.
