The premise of this RP, is that Darkspawn have been harassing a village and kidnapped some of its inhabitants. The village elder is charging a hefty sum to whoever can get his people back.
Location will be somewhere in Ferelden. I'd imagine the characters will all meet at near the message board in the village.

question: I was thinking of what supplies Armaas would have been given by the qun, and th thought of cannons occurred to me.
of course it would be too lorebending that they would entrust a lowly Armaas with the secret of *creating* blasting powder, what if they had provided like, a single-use cannon or bomb, thats set to go off if anyone tried to remove the powder to find out the recipie?
sorry i dont want to muddle the Dm's themes with my own characters backstory stuff, but i dont know enoug about the story to brainstorm that yet!
err, did the darkspawn take them to the deep roads? are we going to fight a broodmother?
....are they bulletproof?

Okay, I get it. We're in Ferelden - where exactly, it's a pretty big place. I imagine it is somewhere a bit more remote because otherwise the local Bann ought to be dealing with this. Mind you they did precious little in DAI to help their people. Then Teagan pushed for the Inquisition to be shut down.
You didn't mention if the Inquisitor disbanded in this world state did you? What about the Grey Wardens? Are we in fact experiencing the fall out from everyone turning on the Grey Wardens (banished) and the Inquisition (disbanded)? That would be poetic justice in way, except stupid Bann Teagan isn't the one who suffers; it's always the ordinary people. (I think I''m beginning to get into the role of Ellas)
I'm thinking the village could be down near Gwaren. I seem to recall that there is a Deep Road exit somewhere near there and they would be suffering from the loss of Loghain as their protector and the HoF (if alive and given the Teyrn) running off into the West.
How am I doing so far? |
