A Thief's Escape ~ 9:44 Dragon (OOC)

So the plan so far is:

1. Willis is working for the dwarven contact. Who sends him a contract from a merchant who had his heirloom stolen. Since this is first time working for him, the Dwarf sends Kailyn as a way to spy and put him to the test?

2. Willis arrives at the place where the Merchant is lamenting the fact that he has his family heirloom stolen.

3. Kailyn can come over and spy on Willis(?) maybe pay off thugs to ambush him to test Willis' fighting skills BEFORE entering the store.

4. The Merchant says that the thief is likely headed to lothering where he can sell it off.

5. Willis can say he can retrieve it if he gets which the merchant is happy to do so.

6. Willis leaves and as soon as he out of the village is ambushed by thugs which Kailyn can spy and witness him using his Spirit powers ?

7. Kailyn can introduce herself and may or may not tell him about how she is spying on him (?) she can offer help (?) and they head to Lothering, bickering all the way.

Is that good so far cmoe

2. Hmmmm...... yeah that makes more sense! It could have Kailyn be more interested in Willis' prowess.

Yeah I like it. You are letting me go with the ideas I feel strongly about. I don't feel strongly about too much as it's all new. At the moment this works well for me.

Does it depend on the writer/poster on how funny/sarcastic the character can be? Or do you all agree if the story will have more serious/dark undertones versus more lighthearted beforehand?

Here's the updated plan:

1. After their introductions, Willis and Kaitlyn head to the forest.

2. They can start camp and do more interactions. I highly suggest we do this to sharpen you reaction posts we may even collab to have run smoothly.

3. In the morning, Willis and Kaitlyn continue to search the forest and eventually find a camp that is likely belonging to the thief. They search for clues to his whereabouts. You are free to make up any clues you like to make it sound like the thief found something special about the compass.

4.I need your input for this: Kailyn or Willis hears a noise and stumbles on the talking tree and shouts. Kailyn/Willis (whoever was left behind.) to come and see them.

5. Willis and Kailyn ask questions to the tree and he alludes that the thief is headed towards Ferelden.

So what do you think? Do you have any ideas of your own? Please proved feedback.

Did we say the thief is going to be a dead end though? So would the clue be something that tells us more about who hired the thief?

 I did have thief working on his own. But we can work with that! I would suggest the thief work for Cailyn's ex-boyfriend. Willis and Kailyn will catch the thief in Lothering.

Yeah, so looks like Kailyn's ex-lover will be the villain!   So are you going to react to my second post?
