Jason whatever is a "respected journalist" according to some people here, so why is expecting him to act like it too much to ask for?

You just described yourself bud. Stating a different opinion does not equal talking down to people. Also name calling is unacceptable.

Bit weird, I got the impression from a couple of dev comments that there was dlc coming. Still I am not surprised if this turns out to be the case. I enjoyed the game for the the most part and I don't regret buying it or playing it. But it was a flawed game and for each good point there was also something I think could/should have easily been done better. I generally don't like open world games but that is my personal problem. The game didn't get well received and I can fully understand it being shelved for now, ultimately I think there will be another Mass Effect game but it may well be some time away.

It definitely feels unusual. I have no interest in Anthem from what has been shown so far, and little interest in another Dragon Age after Inquisition. For the first time in quite a while I don't feel compelled to follow or at least get excited about future Bioware games or content.

Anyhow, this guy is either right or wrong, no need to go off your nut at the moment. I do think it is time that Bioware should tell us what is going on.

I can't really agree, I even see EA is on a good hot streak lately. Inquisition got delayed a whole year, Andromeda got delayed months and had a 5 year development cycle, far more time on games than any other studio EA owns when you look at their relationship with Bioware, it's why I just don't like the excuse of rushed games when bioware gets far more time than DiCE (who happens to be EAs true #1 money maker). Then we look at Anthem getting a delay and it's been in development for 6 years plus now. 

Then we can take a look at their marketing and such. Star Wars BFII is dropping season pass (cause it's becoming a big complaint in the industry that most season passes don't live up to the high prices they're put out as) and is expanding on the first. It's getting an actual campaign, supposedly space battles will be another addition, they've reworked the class system and improved other areas. Battlefield 1 has started a trend in the fps genre of going back to older settings I.E. WWI-WWII. Then lets look at EAs sports games: for the most part not really improving gameplay wise but graphically getting better with roster updates and the newest madden is getting a career/story mode in a sense. I don't play sports games so I can't comment on what they're doing for their other sports franchises.

I honestly think people scapegoat EA as the issue when if you ask me, they've been doing a lot of corrections and are very generous in a ariety of situations(think, how many other developers get the time that bioware gets with their games? Lets say EA still rushes them.....it still more time than others regardless).

EA also isn't holding a gun to our heads forcing us to buy it or to buy such high priced mediocre games. It's our choice in the end, although I'll say most games aren't worth the full asking price they do right now, it's why I say people pay to "beta test" these days cause first impression seems to be losing its importance to people and should be ignored since devs will just patch it up later on anyways, those patches have spoiled people at this point.
