It should be interesting.....all questions point to DLC.....but i'm hoping for some clear answers and nothing that involves guess work or anything that sounds like statements from a crime scene... Reporter: "Do you have the suspect that caused this murder?" Police Chief on Podium: "Uh i can't answer that right now...next question" Reporter: "Do you have firearm used in this assualt?" Police Chief on Podium "Uh i can't answer that question right now....next question" Reporter "Did the suspect have any accomplices?" Police Chief on Podium" Uh..I can't answer that question at this time....next question" Reporter "Do you know where the nearest Dunkin' Donuts is located?...  " Police Chief on Podium " 4 blocks down 5th st, bust a right on Clark st.....go 5 blocks down and bust a left on Delancy st" I got a bit carried away there didn't I?....  ....  ......anyway hopefully we'll get some concrete answers in the way of DLC....and not vague answers. If we don't get any, so be it and maybe Mass Effect will get the break it deserves after the bad press it's received....i just saw that Andromeda is being sold for like 20 bucks at gamestop after being previously sold for $29.00 USD....so idk. Again i'm not sure what the sales numbers are, but the price dropping so much after just a few months is a tad troubling....and make no mistake Andromeda is to blame for crashing and burning out of the gates, (I still think it's rather mediorce) but i still don't think it's as bad of a game most are making it out to be....The game is stunning visually and i found most of the loyalty missions interesting.... |

I would hope that everyone attending the panel would be respectful and pleasant, as the people hosting the panel will be the developers that were working in the trenches, not those who made the decisions that may have lead to the mild reception of MEA (spending a year or more on procedurally generated planets, not allowing another delay to remedy facial animations, major story changes late in development, etc).
Those who made the decisions won't be there. The people at the panel will be those who tried their hardest, worked long hours and late nights trying to make the best game with what they had. Andromeda is as good as it is because of their hard work, and I would challenge anyone to say another studio could do better with 18 months of actual focused production, building most elements for the game engine from scratch, and major changes beyond their control.
Please, remember they are human beings who love what they do and tried so very very hard.

It doesn't make sense to me that they would have a panel if they had no plans to release a dlc. If there was no such plan why not just let it die...they may not give a date, but I hope they share some good News!

Prior to the Jaws of Hakkon DLC the price on the base game for DA:I had dropped to around half the price of the original retail. Then again this just put into question a lot of things. If the franchise was on hold and dlc cancelled why would they still do a con appearance? I'm not expecting a miracle but it does seem a bit weird from all the reports lately. Cons and panels get planned, prepared and paid well beforehand. So, now they are going in with their brave faces and their shield boosts maxed. I honestly hope that those haters had already got bored with piling up their anti-andromeda shit, and that devs get at least some compassion and loving for their job, not only blaming and shaming combined with anti-EA bs. |

I imagine real people are more reluctant to be troll-y little shits like us internet people can be, so I doubt they have much to worry about. This is the fandom that staged formal official protests over the ending to a video game. Protest which remained at online platform only. Also BioWare devs didn't encounter a fan face-to-face on ME3 endings issue, until PAX East 2017. This is when BioWare dropped the guard for first time and allowed that question to be asked. And by that time, it was already long blown over issue, as people either accepted the endings or used that ending mod that cuts out all the BS. It really just shows that even with ME3 endings controversy, no BioWare fan that attended any Comic Con or other similar event tried to brute force that topic to be discussed with BioWare devs. |

......anyway hopefully we'll get some concrete answers in the way of DLC....and not vague answers. If we don't get any, so be it and maybe Mass Effect will get the break it deserves after the bad press it's received....i just saw that Andromeda is being sold for like 20 bucks at gamestop after being previously sold for $29.00 USD....so idk.
