If they must have a reporter on Ryder's crew, I'd rather it be done for the sake of the story than for blatant marketing.
Diane Allers just came off as too much of a waste of space after the neglect of most of the ME2 teammates' stories.
Every time I saw her on the ship, I kept wondering, "Why couldn't you just interview Shepard on the Citadel? Why not over the comms?" Is there some kind of overwhelming amount of coverage on the Normandy that you can't do elsewhere?
She even failed to be eye candy with the dress so tight it emphasized bulges in her figure and her face had such pudgy cheeks that I wondered if something went wrong compared to her prettier real life counterpart.
So no, please not another Diane Allers.

Yah, but I was answering his question of of, "Who really needs culture injections? Do we really want them?" I agree that we don't really need another Chobot, although it was a nice distraction from the usual romances if you decided to take that path.

Yeah, indeed. Although in those cases they where main characters. The thing in ME3 with Allers is that it felt "forced" . Didn't really add much to the game, didn't felt right. It was more of a situation of "here's Mass Effect 3, featuring Jessica Chobot as an absolute useless npc because why the heck not" .

Ashly Burch. Her 'Hey Ash, Whatcha Playin'?' is rather good (and funny) and she's very good at VO.

Honestly I didn't mind/ was even supportive of Allers in the beginning. Then her game model looked horrible and her acting sucked.

So... make sure that whoever you get can act and fix your damn mocap and we're cool.

But if it has to be someone from Youtube, can it be Egoraptor? He's still relevant, right?
