Gold Solo Speedrun Hall of Fame (Under New Ownership)

I haven't done much testing of stuff or grinding of turians on gold recently but did try some goofing around with armored compartments and this build in the past and the time gained by three extra nukes was canceled out by the time lost in hunting for nemeses that wandered away and not being able to shoot advancing goons through walls in w4 and w7 (thus making it harder to hold ground in the basement camp zone and not get flanked). 

Glacier is more trouble than its worth to grind on plat, IMO, unless playing GI, GT, one of the invincible reegar vanguards or Recon Mines. The back stairway leading into the basement campzone becomes a steady trickle of shit during later waves because just a single goonflank or pyro coming down can ruin an entire solo.

First time I post here I believe, as I've quit Platinum soloing and still have a few SG III amps to spend I figured I might as well do a few relaxed Gold solos (there is no way in hell I'm wasting a single SG III amp on pugs).

First Gold solo done with an SG III amp, and only decent objectives and 10 WS.

Is a sub 19 melee only Silver decent? No powers, no weapon fire, no rockets, just RAWWWWWR! Had one last night using only Hydraulic Joints gear and it felt REALLY GOOD.

Yes, I agree. One of the last runs I did was N7 Paladin, it was so smooth, more relaxing than a plat team game. The thing I like is that gold solo speedruns don't force you to kite and that, obviously, they're fast. Also you have to twist up a bit your builds in order to kill mooks quickly, which is fun.
On the other hand I'm currently trying to plat solo a second character, I'm at my 100th try (las one failed at 30 secs from extraction) and I get angrier at every try.
