Yes, the silver pool of both weapons and chars is very small. At a guess the idea is to more actively push population into Gold/Pt tiers, b/c the majority coasted in Br/Si. Not on this board, obv. But at any rate, there is really very little you could unlock in this game as a Silver scrub. There's a decent amount of uncommon characters and weapons though, so it's not going to hold your progression back. I'd kill for a Raptor X - Siphon X currently, so that I can use it on my Human Soldier XX. Uncommon is Silver, right? Well, i am not a SR person, and I have 1 shotgun -the Disciple I play with - and Katana and Disciple is it for Silver/Bronze weapons in shotguns (yes, two weapons only). For ARs, Ghost is better than anything else I have in "my" tier, and Charger X (Bronze) is maxed out.... dunno if anything Silver is worth trying, I've picked Scorpion instead. As for the Silver pool of characters, it's purely a personal preference & I really don't like what I have there. I am basically resigned to play with Humans. unless I play Gold, after all my Humans are on 20/XX, there is nothing to want in Bronze/Silver loot pool. |

It's incredibly strong now.. caveat you have to constantly run to ammo boxes, but you can blow things up so quickly. |

Yep, I throw grenades like confetti on my Soldier, and I use gear that gives an extra one as well - and gods only know why it combines a shotgun with the extra grenade slot.... The Bronze Humans are strong, that's not the issue. in the Silver pool of characters there are 2 Asari - I hate them b/c lore reasons; 2 Krogans - I am already too slow compared to good players to play a vehicle that makes extra-wide turns, I don't play Infiltrators, so Salarian is out, so it leaves me only a T!Sol... and guns wise, I'll try anything but SR, b/c I will either miss, or will be dead/the thing will be dead while I aim. A decent shotgun on Silver would be uber-nice. Or, like, just another one, b/c, seriously... two of them is silly. so, if I stick to Silver, I'll spend a long time unlocking stuff I have no interest in playing with OR I will take an even slower route of saving up for Arsenal packs with Silver earnings. Not much instant gratification that way. TL;DR I would love to see a few additions to the Silver loot pool. I might be the only person wanting something added to the loot pool, lol. |

4 out of the 5 sound badass... they have good power sets with some of the better powers in the game.
But the Guardian sounds like a character that won't kill much aside from using his gun. If Warp is a Primer instead of a detonator, then that character really won't be able to kill things aside from using a solid weapon.
Backlash can get kills, but the enemies on platinum absolutely melt the Aegis.

It's *possible* that Warp will have an evolution to make it detonate (if it only primes at rank 1, or vice versa), similar to MEA version of Energy Drain or Shockwave. Of course I am only speculating.
