Using sticky grenade on clustered enemies in Platinum is best strategy.
It`s also 300% more effective than Cobras thrown.

Just as a general remark to "questioning solo" for whatever logic (cause there is no logic in playing games anyway).
Basically there can be only one motivation to strive for a solo:
BEING ABLE TO DO IT!
As the game's mechanic is meant for cooperative play and by purpose not intended to run soloing it's the one and only final challenge of a player's skills (there was a reason ME3MP came with the best of the best) in MEA.
Of course one can do it in splendid isolation and remain quiet - and I'm pretty sure many are doing exactly that as they never attend this or another forum - kudos to the unknown heros out there.
But even should you have wrestled down a grizzly in the Rockys bare-handed there is some likelihood you would like to share your survival with some of your mates - and receive a well-earned deserved pat on your back.
In this case only virtually but still valid!
Hence again - kudos and honors to all being able to master a solo, especially the gold and platinum ones!
P.S.
InfamousSparkman currently is rank 6 in PS4 MEAMP APEX leaderboard. There is a hint...

One thing I noticed is that Destroyers (and presumably other big shielded enemies) no longer regenerate their shields.
This is an improvement from ME3, wherein a Geth Prime or Banshee would regen their shields/barriers almost instantly!

Would people be interested in me recording a platinum duo with 2 non infiltrators? That might be fun and would showcase more actual skill.

Well it's hard to compare to me3 because in me3, platinum solos were as hard as you chose to make them. If you did a solo on firebase giant, or with a crutch kit like the tgi, aiu, kroguard, juggernaut, etc, it was a joke. But if you solod geth/jade without one of the easy characters, it was a real challenge Oh and I'm on Xbox |

Do you use Radius or Damage for Evo4 Sticky Grenade? I went with radius that's what I thought watching your vid. I'm going to have to give that a try as I always take the damage. I usually stick my nades on the enemy, whereas your nades to the floor method seemed to work better. |

Man I had a fuckin BALLER 3 rounds with Batarian on solo Aqua/Plat/Kett but then fucking Upload on wave 4. I was SO FUCKING PISSED. Full consumables after 3 rounds, I was ecstatic. Straight into rage alt+F4
