Anyone can post anything they want on YouTube but without some independent timestamp we have no way of knowing when it was done. And just because someone can't post here does not prevent them from posting in like eleventy billion other places on the Internet where people brag about solo-ing. all of vegasflash's threads he made about soloing in this forum actually did make specific time stamps. He should've been back from his vacation by now and uploaded it, but since he's banned for a week he's not able to show anyone here. Unless of course he uploaded it on youtube and we blindly search it in hopes to find his solo i give people the benefit of the doubt most of the time, so let the man at least try to make good of his promise. |

Burden of proof is on the person making the assertion. "I am the best because I was the first to do X" -- prove it.
P.S. Independent timestamp = something like the atomic clock webpage visible in the background as the solo is being recorded.

TBH, it seems like he's missed the boat on this "first platinum solo" thing. Regardless of this whole timestamp mess, and whether making a thread on an unofficial fan forum counts as evidence, of greater weight than a video upload...
If he wants e-fame, maybe he should try for "last platinum solo" instead.

This is the most active and most popular ME forum on the internet; thus, it holds the highest credibility among the other forums Just because another person uploaded it first doesn't mean it's the first solo. if VF uploads his solo, then technically that would be the real first ever platinum solo because his topics he made(which are closed) are time stamped BEFORE that upload which upholds his promise |
