Bloody hell - something else I'm not supposed to do. In the time I've been involved with BSN, I have learned that pretty much everything I enjoy in this game is either an underpowered, useless peashooter that has no place above Bronze, or an overpowered, scrub-tier, broken, unfair, easy-mode crutch. I have yet to figure out what I am actually allowed to do. Just be yourself and do what you feel is fun for you. You play the game, because it is fun.

You are supposed to play your game and enjoy.
I play GI all the time, zero fucks given.
I use the Reegar a fair amount. Often with Incendiary.
KroSent, Paladin Cheez, whatever - I play it. Tears are delicious.

Luckily there are still scrubs in this world or what will the real pros be doing? They'd die of boredom... Also, RED ALERT!!! There's somebody (me) playing the game for fun!

Paladin is the most bugged character in the game. Every power he has is bugged or exploitable. Not to mention he's a gotdamn engineer with a riot shield not a damn sentinel.

I can understand snap freeze and chain overload getting a lot of hate because its kinda insane but like snap freeze alone??? For me it´s because Snap Freeze primes everything for cryo explosion, overriding everything else. It gets frustrating if you try to do some specific explosions only to get cryo one every single time because everything around is primed by SF. It also makes for sort of stereotypical match. Hate is probably strong word, but I admit, I don´t like the kit very much. Thunderdome, if I recall correctly, is two players trying to outscore each other on hardest settings possible - Platinum/Collectors/Hazard Glacier. It was a running gig on old bsn when people were in dispute or jokingly challenging each other to "prove" who´s better.

In this case, use the flamer (w/ a complimentary geth trooper or something else) to prime everything for fire explosion instead.

I finished a Tech Mastery not long ago, so I'm racking in the points for tech skills right now. As of today, I've been playing QFE quite a lot and using Cryo blast quite a lot as well, but haven't managed to finish it yet. Today, I busted out my Paladin after a long time and while Snap freezing phantoms and goons on Reactor, I actually managed to finish Cryo blast challenge. Another bug or feature? I mean, I realize they are basically the same skill, but I never realized the game considers them as such. In other news, Paladin may be the most fun of all the N7 classes I believe that any points scored through cryo explosions count towards the Cryo Blast challenge. I've completed the achievement while playing a Cryo Human Soldier build, using Concussive Shot to detonate on frozen enemies.

Exactly, just using snap freeze don't give any points in the Cryo blast challenge, it only comes from detonating Cryo explosions, so you also get it from detonating targets frozen solid by Cryo ammo. It's kind of funny how a rather technical question turns into the regular BSN "we hate the Paladin" thread

Ohhhhh its one of those things... like the reegar carbine... where everyone doesnt like it because they think its too powerful and I use it and im like 'its ok I guess' (although I do actually like the paladin quite a lot but im not a big fan of the reegar carbine I dont think it does much damage) That's because Reegar is one of those things that scale with FPS. It's rather okayish at 30 on consoles, but at 60 on PC it's very OP and IIRC it scales beyond 60, not sure how or if there's some cap, but I'm tempted to try it without FPS limiter at 450 my PC can run ME3 MP. There's thread on BSN where Pedro/Cyonan explains how exactly this works.
