My Platinum times are around 20 minutes still, usually with Pugs, and one of them being a good player.
But I don't care too much about speed runs.

Offtopic: Great video for showing what I suspected. The ammo refill is screwed now. You clearly run to ammo boxes that didn't get refilled when the next wave started, or they are shared now. Biowar PLZ. I'm pretty sure that was Plat Apex mission with dwindling supply mod. Boxes didn't refill until wave 5. Not disagreeing with what you've experienced, but I hadn't noticed boxes not refilling except on that mission. |

Mot PUG runs are abut 20 for me as well depending on what I use (if I bring a tier 2 or 3 character they can be a little longer). 17 or so if I bring a scrapper and/or avenger. Sparkman, evo and void just play extremely well and unselfishly. So with them time will always be really good. Evo is one state over from me as well so we have really good connections when one of us is host too. We also weren't intentional speerunning at first but when we saw our wave 4 time on icebreaker we were like...ooh lets do this quick and break our record...we weren't even trying on derelict until sparkman said wave 10 look at our time (one of the 13 minute games) and then we decided to see how fast we could do it.... |

Shield boosting 4 people the whole game whenever it's available and invasion get you lots of points, plus killing things with headshots. Evo is really good. Smoothest games are when I play with Evo. We are one state apart (we can get headshots in each other's lobby) and we both play unselfishly doing what's best to finish as quick as possible. |

I haven't even tried platinum yet. I took a long break from the game so I'm not sure what to use exactly. What are some recommended classes and weapons? No one I know plays on xbox anymore so I guess I'll have to PUG it up.

Only plat. i played was that APEX mission where those rubber banding/1000 meter range headbutting Krogans (auto corrects as Brogan..  ) had 1000% melee damage. tried to get in to a regular plat. game, but so far no luck. All are that APEX mission, tried to set up a match myself, waited for almost 10 min. and came here to type this. Hollidays are a bad time to get a match done. Gold lobby took also 10+ min. to get nobody else in it. |

13:25 is our fastest. Boss/Upload/Pizza(fuck this objective too). Would have been faster if my internet wasn't crapping the whole time.
