If Bioware's Anthem is multiplayer focused, then I won't supporting the game even if it's free.

OP - Could you please list the quests that are still bugged. I'm really curious to know what these are and whether or not I've somehow managed to avoid the bugs or whether the bugged quests are ones I just haven't encountered yet. Just one thing I think is worth mentioning on bugged quests. I have more time in the game then a close friend and he was complaining about bugged quests and the way it looks to me is if you progressed far enough into the bugged quest it could be stuck in a broken state due until a new game. My guess is that the fix could require modifying a save file and if they try to adjust a players save file could corrupt it and frankly I much rather have a broken quest then to have a patch corrupt a save that I might be a 100 hours into. I can confirm that. Earn Your Badge was still bugged for me because I had already started it in a bugged state. I have not gotten it yet in my new run but in my old one it stayed bugged even after the patch.

At this point, with no response from the OP, I have no reason to believe there are "several" bugged ones left that cannot be completed now. I'm not having any trouble completing any of the quests that have appeared in my journal and I'm getting down to the home stretch and have very few unfinished quests left in in the game. As I"ve been going along, I have been checking various lists online and I'm pretty sure that I'm clearing all the quests available on each planet. Admittedly, there does not appear to be an accurate comprehensive list of quests in any of the Wiki's yet (That is, if I try to follow just one list, I have a lot more quests in my journal than that single list, so I've been digging up the different ones and combining them to get a comprehensive list.) Frankly, I think the OP is exaggerating the statement that there are "several quests" still bugged in order to "sensationalize" the issue to generate sympathy for the proposal. It's a very common ploy here on this forum (and yes, people misleading other people through exaggeration is a pet peeve of mine). To date, I have only found one quest on a list that I cannot complete. It's apparently called Running a Fever. However, it does not show at all in my journal as being incomplete either. It just doesn't seem to exist, so I suspect that it appears in the gamer guide (which I don't have) and was later cut from the game, although the doctor/scientist I'm suppose to deliver a "cure" to is still there and requesting that I come back when I have the medicine. As I've said though, there is no indication of any incomplete quest for it in my log.

Jeez people, anyone would think the OP had insulted your respective mothers.
I think we've got exactly zero chance of getting a discount on Anthem, but EA has admitted that there were issues with this game and it wasn't what they had hoped it would be, in terms of both product and reception. I'm paraphrsing there, obviously.
I enjoyed the game. I feel like I got my money's worth and I certainly don't expect anything from Bioware. I can still see the issues in terms of both quality and polish, though.
It wouldn't be a crazy idea for them to do something, even if it was just a free weapon DLC with the Kishock and the Raider. CDPR were happy to release a bunch of DLC items for free and their game-that-shall-not-be-named was lauded.

I have not gotten it yet in my new run but in my old one it stayed bugged even after the patch. I was able to complete it without an issue, although I did not start the quest before the last patch. I did the formerly bugged area of the quest (the beat his time one) as the middle objective even (i.e. not in the order recommended by those who experienced the bug). I took down the enemies in very fast time and firmly believe that the last group of enemies in that section did not spawn (which is what the internet says will trigger the bug)... still, I got credit for completing the round, beating his time, and the quest is in my log now as being fully completed. I would say that the bug has been fixed. (I also had done that section once by itself, got the larger enemy to spawn, and beat the time. That section did check off as completed; however, I backtracked the file for other (dialogue) reasons) before completing the 3rd leg of the quest, so I can't confirm on that whether or not the entire quest would have cleared that time; but I have no reason to believe that it would not have done so.)

That's predicated on having had experienced a disappointment. I did not. And I don't like it when someone makes a sweeping statement on my behalf, and demands a restitution that I by no means feel entitled to.

I did have trouble spotting him in the cultural centre. He's not in a very visible location and I don't think he's near the spot where you first talk to him. There are also a number of other inactive angara in the centre. I believe he's standing right at the lowest end, tucked in a corner near Jaal... might be worth checking around for him again. I am having a bit of an issue with coaxing the "talk" symbols to come up sometimes... that is, sometimes I have to walk around the subject a few times to get the icon to come up. I've also resorted to pulling out my scanner a few times... which seems to work (retained that idea from the Defeating the Kett mission on Eos where scanning causes the computer node activation symbols to appear during the Fact or Fiction quest).

I'm expecting Anthem to bomb quite hard. Not enough were thrilled by the E3 showing and many folks saw ME:A as the death of trust between Bioware and their fans. Anthem would have to be something better or equal to the quality of ME2 to get off the ground. And with so many good writers already left the company, its touch and go for Bioware right now

I'm going to say no to a discount, yes to special armor/weapon skin or certain class of armor. I forget what game it was, but if you had played previous titles you got some additional in-game content. I'd be ok with that. Reckoner Knight and Dragon Age armors were nice accessories.

Nope, not exaggerating at all and I haven't replied because of health reasons which take me out of action for days at a time. THe ME trilogy and games in general provide me with some relief by focusing me away from the pain, hence my disappointment as I just don't find it quite as immersive for many reasons. I got the Deluxe game pre-release and carried on from that point once the game was unlocked and these are quests from memory, which btw isn't reliable due to the morphine; Defeat the kett Earn your badge Contagion KAdara's ransom there were several others that i can't remember. I am thinking the reason is because I compled the first playthrough by patch 1.06. I then started a NG+ and those missions now complete successfully, including I believe Running a Fever but would have to check that. This may be because mine is now patched to 1.09 by the time I completed Hunting the Archon. I find it really sad that people can get so worked up over something like this but that is the internet for you. And I wouldn't presume to "know me" through one post. I have been gaming 30 years plus and no doubt paid £££ for games. Do I feel entitled to anything, no lol.

The architect battles are still bugged as was another mission on Eos, which I can't remember the name of, so actually no, there are still buggy quests for me for whatever reason. So, no I am not just randomly "claiming" anything. Thankfully, most people are not as condescending as you when their opinion differs from mine. I really hope you respond better than this when life throws you a curve ball, its just a game after all.

If I am, I apologize. She said: Seems pretty clear to me. The bottom line here is that Bioware has not left us with a number of quests that cannot be completed. I completed them (except Running a Fever) and even the OP has now found that he/she can complete ones he/she previously could not... even one that I cannot complete (but I'm not counting because it doesn't even show up in my log at all). That is, at the end of the game, all the quests I've done appear as completed tasks. I know I haven't completed Running a Fever because the Dr. to whom I'm supposed to give the antibiotics is still telling me to come back when I have them. The stoners that grow the antibiotics are completely inactive and I have already scanned all the plants in that location. According to my journal, I have completed a total of 213 quests (it's a few more because I now see that I didn't add the last couple of Meridian missions onto my spreadsheet)... am I missing any? ETA: After cleaning up my list and comparing directly to my journal - total quests completed are 209, none shown as incomplete. Previous spreadsheet count did include some accidental duplicates. Running a Fever would bring my count of total number of quests available to 210. Is there a comprehensive list of all the quests in the game anywhere on the internet?
