Hungarian (with some German / Slavic blood – nothing interesting, typical Central European mix). My great-grandmother from Transylvania.

Just sayin' Keith. You don't act like you're from Ohio at all.
For starters, you're not nearly as much of an asshole. There are only 3 kinds of people that come from Ohio, and they all start with 'Ass': Assholes, Asswipes, and Astronauts.

Well, I was originally a collaboration project between two mega-corporations, manufactured in a factory somewhere in Australia. One corporation was local, while the other had roots in south america.
I'm unfamiliar with most of my history, but I know that there were a few British, Dutch, Italian, and German scientists in charge of my original prototype.
Of course, this is all before Microsoft bought out the rights to my concept at the very last second.

Born in California, raised in Calgary (since 4.5yrs old), My mother was full Portuguese(so that makes me half Portuguese) and my father was a Louisianna boy who I guess had Cree, French, and English on his mother's side and his dad's side was a mystery...I guess I'd have to get one of those DNA tests done to figure the rest out...not too concerned about it though,I just say Portuguese, it's something that I know for sure.

On Mom's side: Grandmother Trauty's family can trace their lineage back to Jamestown, and the old family name was Harper. The town of Harper's Ferry, West Virginia was a site of significant event in the lead-up to the Civil War, and my families ancestors were the proprietors of said town, being one of the wealthiest families in all of Virginia back in the day, all the way back to Jamestown. The family is almost entirely English, Welsh, and Irish, but goes so far back that it's been mixed with all sorts of stuff. Through this line I'm also directly descended from Meriwether Lewis (Lewis and Clark expedition) and Thomas Jefferson. I also have links to German and English nobility here.
Grandfather Joe took a long time finding out his heritage, but eventually discovered that he too had connections to Jefferson. Through this end, we're German, Welsh, French, and Irish. The German ancestor of mine who came to America was the son of one of the wealthiest aristocrats in Europe. Didn't mean much; my grandfather grew up dirt poor in a two room apartment in Baltimore.
On Dad's side: Mi abuela's family is half Native American (great-grandfather was a full-blooded Lakota Sioux with some Hopi in there), and my great-grandmother was a Mexican immigrant of both Spanish and Mestizo origin. It's really weird when I meet some of my second cousins and they're Hispanic with Spanish names, and I'm a chill red-headed white dude that you would never guess was 1/8 Mexican. My grandfather loves his spicy Latina's, that's all I can say.
And as for him, my grandfather is of Norwegian and Scottish descent; the family name, before it got changed, was Odinson (so I am quite literally descended from a God.) The other part was your Scots in the family. My Great-grandfather, who was of Scots-Norwegian descent, married an Australian woman of Scottish descent (my great-grandmother was an Aussie) during the Second World War. He was a Naval Officer stationed in Aus, and took her home as a war bride back to Iowa. Thus, my grandfather is technically half-Australian, though he was born and raised in the United States, and his biological mother died when he was less than 2 years old. Great-grandfather married a younger woman from Colorado after that, and she was basically my great-grandmother. She always treated me well, so I always regarded her as family.
Meanwhile, I once met my second cousins in Australia (the great-granny was a divorcee when she met my great-granddad.) They were, in short, a bunch of bogans and yabbos. My grandfather was with me, meeting his half-sister for the first time in decades, and he outright said he regretted the trip. It's weird I have Aussies as second cousins, along with some Mexicans. Ancestry does weird things.
So... I'm 1/8 Mexican, 1/8 Native American, some substantial portion (I think it's like 1/5) Scottish, Norwegian, English, German, Irish, French, and Welsh, all in that order.

My mother in the last few years has been on a serious ancestry kick, she was in foster care most of her life so I guess this has some appeal for her as she never knew her heritage past her own parents. This means I know far more about my own ancestry than I would ever actively seek out. Turns out on my mothers side we come from a long line of Germans printer/booksellers who sometime in the 1880s turned up in Scotland and married into the local population, because frankly the Scots with marry anything.. even the French On my fathers side we are looking at Yorkshire pig farmers going back to the dawn of time, just when you think there has to be something more exciting, NO its another pig farmer. Pretty sure if we went back to proto-humans great uncle Ugh would be in the corner of the cave bothering a proto-pig. On the funny side of this, I have lived in Germany, both my sister and I took german language all through school (my sister even took it into Uni level) and I work in the publishing industry... all of which happened long before mother started her digging.

Kind of boring: A big part French, a bit of German, some Britt (English or Welsh, I can't remember), a pinch of Belgian and a tiny part Danish.

I find it so fucking cringe that literally every single fucking American person I've ever met claims to be partially Native-American. It's cringe because 1) it's obviously a lie most of the time and 2) it's cringe how these people think they're somehow more interesting or more legitimate when they're partially Native and 3) it's cringe that these people get extra free money and scholarships just because their supposed ancestors way down the line were oppressed and killed by the pilgrims. It's fucking dumb.
I've yet to meet an American fella who's just 100% honest and says "Nope, I'm not Native-American, not one bit, I have 0% Native-American blood, zero, nada."
Would be so refreshing to finally meet a honest American person. Any honest Americans in this thread?
Edit: Draining just told me he's 0,0% Native-American. He's the first. Good for you mate.

Well, you're negative. Sorry, I can't help that my great-grandfather was a Native-American. Nor have I ever claimed any scholarship or financial aid for heritage (which I do qualify for under current law.) At this point, a lot of people have Native ancestry somewhere down the line.

I've never been outside of the United States but if we're talking about blood... Czech/Irish/Polish. I don't know anything but the basics of my bloodline since most of my family are completely incompetent when it comes to knowing details.
