I'm sitting here reading science journals, and I'm halfway dozing off. I need something to help keep me awake. How bout we propose new weapon ideas? Gives me a reason to keep my eyes open and continue work on the side. I'm sure everyone probably wants a handleful of the old weapons to return, but I think we should be giving ideas to new gun concepts; rather than living on nostalgia. You don't necessarily have to go into stats on the gun, but I think a name, weapon type, faction (ex. Milky Way/Andromeda/Remnant), rarity, and weapon function is a good way to structure an idea you might have. I'll give an example(s) of my own.
Coordinator (Remnant Automatic Pistol) Ultra-Rare The first shot in the clip is semi-automatic, and fires a beacon round that sticks to the enemy. All subsequent shots afterwards are automatic and home in on the location of the beacon. Given that it's a remnant weapon, the damage threshold would low, but its homing capabilities would make it deadly for shooting around corners and cover. Since it also tries to have the subsequent projectiles home in on the beacon location, it would also reward players who try to line up headshots; as every shot could potentially deal weakpoint damage.
Oracle (Asari Sniper Rifle) Rare An experimental two shot sniper rifle that uses concentrated mass effect field projectiles. It has a higher chance to stagger and improved stability over your average rare sniper rifle. Unique to this gun is its shot damage, in addition to its priming and detonating ability. The first shot is a high damage priming shot that sets up the target for biotic detonations and has a higher stagger chance. The second shot is a low damage shot that can detonate any primed targets (including enemies primed by this weapons first shot). The biotic explosion made from the first should would probably yield a smaller amount of damage, since it can readily detonate and prime enemies.
Didact (Heavy Kett Plasma Launcher) Ultra Rare A heavy Kett weapon, the Didact fires large plasma-infused bomblets that deal heavy splash damage to a wide area (relative to other explosive based weapons). It carries three shots per clip, and is very heavy (slightly more than the Soned).

Geth plasma shotgun: fires a plasma ball like the dhan. Hold trigger to charge a more powerful shot.
Quarian emp grenade launcher: fires projectiles that stick to surfaces. Hold trigger to manually detonate all projectiles.

I know this is not on the same page with your ideas...
but I think 25% damage boost on Soned can make this game much more exciting. ...for me... lol
Anyway, I would like to see some Automatic rifles with good accuracy that has no blooming effect...

Semi auto, fires single concentrated bolts of electricity that can reach out to assault rifle ranges accurately. Holding the trigger charges the bolt. The longer you charge it, the more range, accuracy, and damage the shot gets. At no-hold its got shotgun range, and at full charge becomes more like a midrange rifle. Could be interesting if a full charge detonated primers too.

M-220 Rapier (Nexus Bolt Launcher - Classed as Sniper Rifle) Rare A bolt launcher that can fire small tungsten rods at a semi-automatic rate. Charging the weapon will cause mass effect fields in the launcher to launch a significantly larger bolt that deals massive damage. Charged bolts use up more of the weapons clip size.
Balak (Angaran Shotgun) - Since the language is made up, I'll just say its translated to "impede" Ultra Rare Developed as a means of blockading entrances and detecting Kett stealth troops, the Balak mixes Kett Plasma technology within an angaran framework. Projectiles fired from this shotgun travel a short distance, then hang in the air for a set period. When a nearby enemy approaches, these plasma particles home in on the target to deal damage. Up to three particles fields can be present on the field at once.

the behemoth's gun would be a cool weapon. doesn't deal a whole lot of up front damage, but each shot leaves a mini destined grenade dealing ~120 damage per second to anything standing within it. each field would last like... 5-6 seconds. with its slow fire rate and low clip size, you could cover the field with a max of like 3 concurrent fields, which could wreck large groups.
Some random kett name like Kanathed, or Thadinak Clip Size - 2 Rate of Fire - similar to ruzad Damage - 120 damage per sec to any target within the field
Fires a projectile of supercharged plasma (insert made up space magic here) that creates a devastating persistent energy field at the point of impact.

Shade shotgun- An classified weapon procured from The Spectre Armory through shrewd negotiations and favors, for a high impact weapon that can even the odds in scenarios where an agent is needs flexibility in close quarters . Developed for engagements where heavy stopping power is needed, along with a good balance of precision in corridors in breaching positions where enemies are entrenched such as in hostage situations . The Shade takes advantage of the ammunition block system from confiscated Wraith shotgun models and amplifies it with magnetic coils. This used in a built in choke system can be fired in a tight spread and it's secondary fire concentrates a sliver- like shot from the block that can pierce medium cover and shred through armor.
Base Stats Lvl 10 Damage 1800 (2500 charge shot) Fire rate 100 Clip size 3 Ammo reserve 42 Accuracy 60 (100 charge shot) Armor bonus dmg 1.25 (1.50 charge shot) Headshot bonus charged 1.75 Charged Penetration dmg %80
Think of the mechanical physics when charged are similar to the Gral spike thrower and It's default fire will feel like the Wraith/Eviscerator from ME 3. It'll give the options of getting solid up front damage close range with a good spread or using the charge to get those hard targets like Fiends and zerkers you want to keep a distance at the price of taking more time on the shot. Charging can also be a great option to target enemies such as sharpshooters whom abuse cover,especially if you get a Headshot (The turian agent could especially abuse this). I hope they make something like this since the Gral and Wraith were my best go-to weapons, especially for Phantom killing.

Throw out all charge weapons. Replace with charge weapons that work/charge any time you're holding the trigger/button NOT when you're doing nothing else and hold it down initially.
Then add geth plasma.

Add the cain. But make it charge for like, 15 seconds before reaching full power, and need a cooldown of 2 minutes. And make it ridiculously heavy. BUT! make it a pistol Additionally, allow dual wielding pistols! Double the fire power, but make it impossible to scope aim and thus have no accuracy.

They should just buff the vast majority of assualt rifles, that way people might actually use them. When Mass Effect 3 was released the Falcon was the most op gun in the game. The power was essentially the same but it had a rediculously high rate of fire, pehaps they should release a rapid fire Falcon with nerfed power.
