I only go to random lobbies to be-friend good pugs. I currently have about 25 friends on my list (starting from the ME3 days) who are very good. I constantly communicate ideas with them when we're playing One of the primary goals of PUGGING is to find good players. This is a Co-op man. platform and username?

Ignore them seductivewizard, they can only feel good about themselves when lording it over lesser players. (Lesser in their minds anyway.) I find Hacks on any difficulty more tedious than enjoyable. They simply last too long, even if you are "doing them right". Hacks (and also Uploads) are a very odd design choice in a fast-paced game that otherwise doesn't want you to stand still, ever.

Well I'm a Platinum God and a 1%-er as previously established. Right? Right. I just don't like Hacks. They are not fun.

The secret to Platinum hack is to actually hack the game and rollback to the original version of hack.

I assume many of these guys don't get the co-op part and hail from the FPS shooter world. But, finally, they're encountering difficulty levels where that ain't working. They are forced to drop their giant egos and figure out how to co-op. It'd be a bad day if these guys join the army. My squad with full coordination is successfully able to hold off several hack locations. Its just that some hack locations are unfortunate. I'd redesign the hack locations such that if you have a clear thought out strategy and the right kits, you should be able to win. That would mean that you don't pick a map randomly, and discuss the right kits to tackle a specific map beforehand. I would probably design every wave with an objective on platinum that forces folks to co-operate. Waves 1-3-5 for simpler objectives, waves 2-4-6 for harder objectives, but, all of them should force team play. Remember ME3 where you couldn't run (WALK!) when you were delivering an object. They should bring that back for starters, so squadmates are forced to defend/clear a path for the delivery guy. I would also bring that moving drone back from ME3. (The drone you had to hang out with until it got to its destination, it moved faster if everyone co-operated). Bioware was on the right track with the Bulwark weapons. I wouldn't have thought of that one. I can think of a coupla other really cool objectives, but, i guess i don't work for Bioware. I personally am glad that Bioware's starting to make the statement, "If ya ain't co-oping, GET YO SELFISH ASS BACK TO FARMING GOLD FOR 50K"

I am glad there are so many people in this thread to tell me how the game is supposed to be played. Prior to reading this I wasn't able to make up my own mind how to have fun.

JFYI We are saying seductivewizard is better than us.. because he can simply overcome Platinum Zero Center hack by placing 4 players in said spots while we cannot. I don`t think I can pull that off with most of random players I meet. Dude, i play a significant amount with 3 guys. We've been doing platinum since 2012 (5 freakin years). I've been playing other co-ops with 2 of these guys for at least 3 years before that. We are on PC/gaming mice/keyboards and that gives us a solid aiming advantage over the unfortunate souls on console. I host a pretty solid 1GBPS fiber internet lag free connection. We also communicate extensively on our mics, pretty much the whole game, start to finish, we are constantly talking/joking about stuff. Yes, we may get driven outta the hack by a progenitor and other vermin at times, but, we'll coordinate exactly when to regroup at said spots etc. For instance, these guys are pretty good at only shooting weak spots and tend to have Targeting VI IIIs on them (45% weak spot damage). I probably have the weakest aim among this crew and I tend to play support classes. For instance, if i debuffed something, i'll yell "debuffed that bastard", and headshots will land on bastard from squad, before i even get a chance to shoot. Yeah, we communicate really well, are well coordinated and that gives us an advantage. As for you....... you just need to "GIT REALLY REALLY GUD" while you're PUGGING away on CONSOLE, as you try to communicate with some pug who only speaks russian and another pug who only speaks French....
