Easiest way to fix Hack/Upload objectives without making them too easy.

Easiest fix = Each enemy in the circle SLOWS the progress by 20%... not stops it.

5 enemies in the hack, stops progress completely, while less enemies only slows it down.

No fixes necessary, no easy money offered. If ya can't handle it, go back to Gold dude.

Platinum is for hardcore players who coordinate/strategize on mics with their hardcore player friend list. Scrubs and pugs may pop gold at 50K a piece.

Where does it say this fix is for platinum only?  It's a fix in general for the hack across all difficulty levels, separating it from the Upload mechanic.

But hey, turn a conversation about an objective in all difficulties, into a illogical discussion about platinum itself.  After 3 straight years of the 4th grade, I would have hoped that lesson about thinking before writing would have kicked in.

Gold is still a cakewalk. The hack issues come into play for platinum.

No it's not a cake walk.  Yet another on a long line of people who cannot see an entire game playing population if it hit them in the face.  It's easy for me and some of the other elite players it is a cake walk for everyone, pure and utter nonsense.

As a medium gold quality player who often plays with other gold pugs of the same ilk the success rate has dropped probably by about 10% or more not only due to objective changes but other changes as well.  The success rate is still reasonably high, I would guess 70 or 80% but it is for sure tougher than it was before the changes were instituted.

Lol at the platinum should be difficult argument.

Most objectives are face stomp easy, including 9/10 hack zones.

Either make all zones as hard as the abnormally hard ones, or get rid of the abnormally hard ones. If you make it harder then do the same for all the other objectives.

It's irritating in pub games to have a 1% chance to fail on an objective because a certain type of objective spawns in one specific location.

I roll through platinum carrying people through games, I can single-handedly complete any boss assassination, device, or retrieval, they are not especially hard, even most hack zones are entirely doable for one person so long as the randoms don't sabotage you, but there are a few very map location specific ones that take a full team effort, creating a disjointed and unfair feeling that your failure was decided by dumb luck.

Imagine the pain you hardcore platinum teams would feel if as a random objective there was a chance that you all instantly drop dead, lose all your consumables and slowly bleed out over a period of 5 minutes. You would all find this just as irritating as the average player finds specific hack spots.

The feeling of entitlement actually comes from the game itself that would subscribe to your "no easy money" philosophy. Your game is not so important that it requires this artifical overinflation of personal demand to enjoy to the fullest. No game is.

High skill player lobbies and coordination shouldn't amount to "probably doing it." It should amount to an easier time doing it that's difficult but still enjoyable.

Enjoyability comes from hitting the sweet spot of difficulty and reward. That's why people play games: often times better ratio than other things out there. This game missed the mark. But with its history, that's no surprise.

There's a certain untold threshold for all games of acceptable difficulty/bs. When you pass that, significantly in this case, the game stops being good/fun and acessibility splinters the playerbase into people with legitimate constructive and correct complaints and people who derive way too much self worth from performing better than others.

Seriously, all of these people are either trolls, or putting way too much of their own self worth into their performance compared to others. Why?

More importantly, why continue to defend objectively bad ideas made by the devs? They are not changes that indicate any idea of serious involvment or a modicum of understanding of their own game. You elitests are confusing the ability to overcome bad decisions and shit changes with skill. Instead, you're talking about workaround.

Even in their behavior, you can tell the devs have given up. We don't even have a live stream announcement. They are just derpping around as the player base adjusts to the bs and waits for the stupid slots to release of the last of their content.

Me? I pug a lot for now and hope for better change without holding my breath, still pointing out stupidity when I see it.
