I'm very critical of story, dialogue and EA's "release it undone 'cause we can up yours fanboys/girls" attitude, but any notion that EA should cease promoting or marketing the game because you think it'll get you the ME game you want is nothing but asking for the exact opposite to occur.
I'm glad they're doing a free trial and not burying ME:A. As a consumer I can say that I never would have bought couple games-- Recore for example--if I didn't get a chance to play it for free for a little while. It remains to be seen if this means dlc will come or if it simply means they will sink a little more support into multiplayer.
