Billy Buskel leaves Bioware

Ok I'll be the one to say.... who?

He was an important piece of the puzzle for the MEAMP development. It's a personal choice (at least what he says) as he got a "better opportunity" somewhere else. All the best, I personally don't care about MEAMP compared to ME3MP. That being said, I wonder if we just got our last major mp update with the addition of Batarians in the mp. I don't think he would have left if there was nothing important from the mp side of things after that update.

He also apparently moved to Phoenix, Arizona.

That's a pretty drastic change of climate for him.



Ah never mind, he moved to Phoenix Labs studio, which is in Vancouver.

The apocalypse is coming.

Life.

Two thoughts:

1) Prior to ME:A's release, I basically disregarded the announcements of dev departures as unimportant. Now I'm more circumspect about this news.

2) Anybody know anything about Phoenix labs?

All sarcasm aside, when people left Andromeda in the middle of its development, people made that sort of comment.

I didn' think anything of it then, and I don't think much of it now (except some high profile figures).

Heh, no worries.  My gaming interests already take up more of my time than it should.  Don't need to add more games to the list, even if it was a good game.

Err, I was asking a what if scenario here. Plus, I'm talking about a person here and what he/you might want out of something from your work. To see it to the end as it were. Obviously it takes more then one person to make a game. Also, the firing part was suggesting if you had the choice (which he clearly had the choice of) to leave--hence the word if.
