Themed Duo Challenges 1 - Hardcore

Set 1.II - Power in Creation

We are skipping the very first challenge for now. This one is great fun, and the 4 gold medals requirement is what actually makes it challenging. I went for grabs, while SenorZanahoria opted for headshots.


Set 2.I - Surviving Haestrom

We played this one safe, ie. by mostly holding the LZ. A pretty fun one, though going without fitness certainly makes getting WS medals... interesting (the turret more than made up for the lack of hp, thankfully!).

We are also skipping the other challenge from this set, as the Lancer has not dropped on SenorZanahoria's manifest yet


Set 3.I - Gangs of the Terminus

We had a... rather unfortunate first run, in which the same banshee skewered both of us after that, we played it a lot safer, hence the relatively slow time. I rarely use the Wraith, and it shows, it took me a long time to get 20 headshots! Conversely, SenorZanahoria is an accomplished Claymore marksman. Quite fun, despite taking place on Condor!

Nice,but you should put your score after the name.As many time was pointed out the score is useless,but since it's right format,you must write it.

I know,but from all those submission,all thise years there aren't two with same time and same score,so it's kinda pointless.

i m going for N7 I on plat, cause it s a good setup for the HE.
I know that acolyte is just for phantoms, but i have to ask. On my first couple tries, i had few mistakes hit on all type of units, either because acolyte was charged before switching, either i even forgot.
Is it acceptable to have a few acolyte shots along the run ?
I could record btw

I love this challenge that much that I'd not only renew my xbox live but I'd even set up my recorder again for it. 

I probably need to practice first too....

Set 3.II - GI Armature

I love the Javelin, but I just don't get it. Sometimes, I will hit a dodging nemesis with a headshot, while tracking her through the gun's charge, then will proceed to miss the next 4 shots against a centurion who is cowering in cover That aside, this is a really fun challenge - as long as you manage to herd dragoons and phantoms, and not get your sniping nest overwhelmed.


Set 4.I - Eden Prime

The wording on the requirements for this one is a bit ambiguous, 20 headshots and/or 50 tech kills. SenorZanahoria took AP round on the carnifex for the TSol, which meant he was going to take the "or" option. Since the HEng could get both, I did try for that... and it almost cost us the match on wave 9, when I was chasing tech kills instead of upping my dps by using my gun


Set 5.I - N7's Finest, Part I

One of my favourite challenges. Strong loadouts, yet both kits need to step a little outside of their comfort zones to get all the requirements done. The later waves got a bit frantic, and a glitched scion on wave 9 almost cost us the match: it decided to climb on a box, from which he had line of sight on all approaches towards it - I am sure he is one of those that glitch hydra too The only thing I dislike in this one is that waves 6 and 8 can get really tough, because the corridors on glacier are too cramped for collectors' bosses, and it is too easy to get all exits blocked.

EDIT: we qualify for the marksman badge on this run! Evidence: I got 20 headshots here and 25 pistol kills here, while SenorZanahoria got headshots here and kills here. Sorry for the belated realization!

N7 II The Shep Clone part 3, I think, was the only one, when I used the Acolyte for more than Phantoms, because of Glacier.

^still quite fast for plat geth !

Since i cant handle plat glacier, even with stun powa and inci glitch and OP SMG, i retrograded to gold for a second.

I got messy hacks i couldnt glitch, and overused powa, cause i missed the 50 tek kill medals on my first try. Forgot 3KS was enough and still waited for a grabs and for incinerate to kill stuff on W9 . Poor gameplay half the time, but really good missiles made it quite fast.
I cant even drive the pizza on plat ... i m constantly punished on 4 5 7 9
