N5. Omega ForcesI. Bray-fist (Gold) 23:45 - TheNightSlasher (287 790 pts) 10WS [v]Hack - devices - escort II. Kill them! (Gold) 23:37 - TheNightSlasher (258 656 pts) 10 WS [v] Pizza - pizza - hack III. Retake Omega Part 3 - The Intangible is Unstoppable (Gold) 26:59 - TheNightSlasher (255 435 pts) 10 WS [v]Escort - pizza - escort ------ N5.1 is all right. Probably the easiest one to get 10 WS. N5.2 was fun because of the vorcha hunter and the executioner combo, which is quite enjoyable. Had to use geth scanner and curtail the use of poison strike on N5.3 to get the 10 WS, which felt a bit tragic. At least, phantoms suffering from DoT from nightshade blades is music to my ears. On my first try, this happened:  It seems like the nonsensical things like these are reserved for cerBS games (Had it not been for this glitch, I would've tried to dodge away from the grenade but when there is a reason to alt-F4 vs cerberus, I will gleefully do it). Next up - N6. A collector solo awaits

N7 Challenges (gold)N6. The Scope of Perspective I. Garrus' Calibrations Part 2 - Archangel (Gold) 26:32 - TheNightSlasher (286 446 pts) 10WS [v]Hack - targets - escort II. Next of Kin (Gold) - COLLECTORS 19:51 - TheNightSlasher (236 820 pts) 10 WS [v] Pizza - escort - escort Gameplay was pretty derp as it felt like I missed a lot of simple shots, but spamming the recon mine 185303 times helps. I had to use (waste) 2 nukes to complete escorts on waves 6 and 10, so there is definitely some scope for improvement but I am content with this (for now). III. Ash (Gold) 29:56 - TheNightSlasher (273 702 pts) 10 WS [v]Escort - hack - hack ----- 6.1 was fun. I quite like FB Vancouver, and TSol is always nice to play. 6.2: My first two attempts ended in 20:44 (5 WS) and 23:26 (10 WS) with targets and devices, respectively, and I was ready to upload them as I wasn't planning on redoing. Then I did 6.3 vs cerberus. I badly wanted to do a collector solo after that garbage and got 20:17 on N6.2. So, I did a few more tries hoping for a sub-20, which happened. 6.3: There was a lot of running away tactical repositioning at any sign of danger as I wanted to get 10 WS with as few tries as possible. This was my second one as I ran straight into a grenade on my first try.

Very impressive time considering hte nukes. Well, there arent so many good nukes on dagger anyway. And 2 record broke ! Imagine what u could do on 6.II if u were far more aggressive ? With fewer missed shots and better nukes, sub-19 or 19:0x may be possible. But that would require lot of grinding. 19:30 or just under should be doable with decent objectives. Overall, Dagger is a decent map for sniping but enemies often tend to hide below the tower, which can delay the solo. Recon mine in the tower does damage enemies below, which is somewhat helpful.

that was a nice series, making gold quite challenging (no geth scanner and no cyclonic and no level IV stuff) most of them not tedious . Was really fun most of the time (we actually had to think a bit to make it work for Killstreaks and stuff and we are stubborn, cause sometimes, after a handfull of fails, just exchanging chars made the run quite smooth Just a thanks to Alfonsedode who is a relaxed duo partner who endured my recently increasing amount of scrubbiness. I m scrubbing more and more lately too, who s willing to do the trios with frank and me ? Well, we have years of trios ahead of us, if 12 duos take 5 months  |

that was a nice series, making gold quite challenging (no geth scanner and no cyclonic and no level IV stuff) most of them not tedious . Was really fun most of the time (we actually had to think a bit to make it work for Killstreaks and stuff and we are stubborn, cause sometimes, after a handfull of fails, just exchanging chars made the run quite smooth Just a thanks to Alfonsedode who is a relaxed duo partner who endured my recently increasing amount of scrubbiness. I m scrubbing more and more lately too, who s willing to do the trios with frank and me ? Well, we have years of trios ahead of us, if 12 duos take 5 months Now do them on Plat. I hate the hurricane. My first attempt had a strange hurricane killstreak on wave 4 but got devices on wave 6 with phantoms camping the device leading to a swift alt-F4. My second try was the 23:07 above which was going smoothly until an unfortunate incident on w10 where I got to tango with 3 phantoms  while delivering the package, which ruined 10 WS and used up the nuke reserved for clean up. I hate the hurricane. On the third try (26:31 above), I got devices on w10 with things going more or less smoothly until then. The game is just trolling at this point. With a combination of patience and luck, I managed to wrap this one up. Oh, also, I hate the hurricane. II. End Scene (Gold)21:55 - TheNightSlasher (255 896 pts) 10 WS [v] Pizza - escort - pizza Tried this 3 times or so. This one is quite enjoyable and is worth a bit of grind. Something about London/Geth combo seems aesthetically perfect to me. The eerie atmosphere of the map, the grayness all around, and the silence of Geth is nice combination. III. Ariake (Gold)42:32 - TheNightSlasher (270 122 pts) 10 WS [v]Targets - escort - hack Went into w10 with 2 missiles fearing the worst. With more aggressive spawn nuking, I could've hit sub-40 but this will do. And it's time for a confession. Somewhere around the middle of wave 4, I was getting a bit bored and annoyed because, well, volus, scimitar, condor, an enemy that isn't collector..take your pick. Starting from w5, I did the nerdy thing of counting the wave budget as I was killing enemies to give myself an estimate of the remainder of enemies left in the wave.  ------ Anyway, that concludes N7 on gold. N7 Challenges (several) REDOsI redid some n7 challenges on gold. Reason for that? Some bad boi wanted to beat my cumulative time  ! Ungrateful little shit that showed no gratitude for all the times I saved him from Banshee grabs! I couldn't allow him to bully me like that!  So I decided to redo some challenges in which I had a very slow time, and after some runs I realized I could go sub 10 hours, so that became my next goal. Of course no full 10 ws, I don't have the skills/patience like Docsteely and Slasher (congrats for your Survivalist accomplishment  , and I wish good luck to Doc for his next runs! )! Some of them were a bit grindy, like N71. So many fails trying to get grabs, getting surrounded by goons and phantoms, and devices! Speaking about devices my successful run had w10 devices. First w9 were so smooth, good objs, good nukes, good time. And when w10 showed up with devices I became a bit sad. Fortunately I was able to overcome those with a bit of luck, 3 gels and some ops pack, and a nuke I was saving for the cleanup  . Then I remade Pull-ups. Objectives were Targets/Devices/Hack and I had good spawns and good nukes. And apparently I was able to get the new record after few attempts. Unfortunately I didn't record it, I'm not used to and my upload speed is shit  . But If I knew I would have gotten the new record I would have recorded it. Then I said to myself: let's pick a new challenge for last, beat the currently best time and record it. Maybe a challenge that everyone hates and nobody plays! And since I'm masochist the choice could be only one: Ariake! I grinded that shit quite a bit but, the more I played it, the faster I became. During this process I respecced 3 times (ended up with a no Stasis build) and I learnt a lot of tricks that allowed me to be bolder, take more risks and kill things faster. But at the end I was able to make it and get a time of 36:01! I was lucky with objectives (fortunately no w3/10 targets/devices), but I lost a lot of time on w10 escort and lack of Pizza left me hungry. Spawns and nukes were not the best, I had better ones in other runs, so maybe a sub35 is possible. Many fails, some banshee grabs (and to be honest I was lucky not getting grabbed in my successful run, especially on the drone escort), but I learnt from these mistakes. Here some examples (sorry for potato quality): Swarmer horde charge Banshee caress followed by a ravager punch Staying in the open under marauder shields fire with no shield boost regen/DR Being too greedy with nukes Banshee love Cumulative Time: Mins: 23+24+27+26+31+26+24+23+27+25+25+25+25+32+31+36+25+39+24+25+36=579 mins Secs: 41+23+14+13+6+29+40+52+55+14+8+14+56+23+49+21+6+54+58+34+1=611 secs 9h49m11s

Anyway, that concludes N7 on gold. Here are the cumulative times. Regular mode: 08:41:23Survivalist mode: 08:53:00 that's it *throwing papers in the air in an utter disgust* this is fucking ridicolous. dis time for me to go and whimper quitely in a corner. oh, and congrats btw !! this is bloody awesome. ...Then I said to myself: let's pick a new challenge for last, beat the currently best time and record it.
