#N7 #Hardcoresolo #sub30 #myfastestrunever #champ #instapic #likeforlike #instaboy #polishboy #summer #hot #toasters #cheatingprimes #screwgeth #camping #pillarofwinI'm not familiar with Instagram, so please, help me out with that. Did I do it right? I saw people doing this thing on the Internetz N7 Challenge Series (Hardcore)N7.II End Scene (Human Male Infiltrator with Black Widow) 26:20 - Sonashii (260 273 pts) 10 WS [V]Just a couple of thoughts. I stole borrowed HInfil build from Muah. I noticed that sticky nades (despite the fact I don't like them), were more useful for me. At least in this run. Cryo Blast is a great debuffer and helps a lot with mooks, but nades were better for keeping hordes of toasters at bay. Also I think I found my corner pillar of win on London, so I tried everything I could to hold it Also I think this run could be a couple of seconds faster, because a Pyro blocked two Primes on wave 10. That helped A LOT actually. Thanks to this unfortunate disaster (for Geth), I could finish escort in no time. My fastest run in the series Oh, and I forgot to mention. I before this run, I had like bajillion wipes. Most of the time - during objective waves. Targets were always one of the easiest ones to do. Stupid longass pizzas and escorts were the one causing most deaths. Also for this run I changed my mods for Black Widow. Instead of double piercing, I went with spare ammo clip. That allowed me to stay focused in one place, picking off toasters one by one. Once full magazine was enough for almost entire wave. So yeah, despite going against my usual build, I think it was more useful. And no! I'm not jumping into this bandwagon again. If anything, I'll try to redo only those one I really enjoy. PS. Is Origin working as intended tm? I can log in to it only in offline mode.

N7 Challenge Series (Gold)
N4 - Vital Signs
I. Servant of The People 45:04 - Balbock (264599 pts)Hack / Escort / Targets Not quite the middle hack but close to that Position... Kited 5 times for that and it took nearly the whole time. And the Drone wanted to move through every possible open space where enemies just waited. Including a detour right into the middle before it turned around to go up the stairs it originally wanted to go up anyway. It's like the Hack and the Drone didn't want me to get a 10WS Medal... I needed 2 Medigels to get the Drone back out of the middle. Anyway I still enjoyed this run dispite the 2 Troll objectives. II. Morning War 28:55 - Balbock (238052 pts)Delivery / Delivery / Delivery Arcnades + Incinerate + Arc Pistol = Lots of dead Geth. All the ways for the Pizzas were clear of enemies so that they were very fast delivered. The Killstreak happened when I used my first Rocket of the run on the first Spawn in Wave 9. 4 more Rockets were used in wave 10 for the cleanup. III. Annihilation 37:30 - Balbock (268103 pts)Delivery / Escort / Delivery Some pro err slow-level Fury gameplay. Didn't help by the Fact that one of the 3 attempted speed up rockets didn't hit right and that the wave 9 spawns were split, so non used there. Wave 9 therefore was a mess in the beginning and it took me a while to get in under control.

N7 Challenge Series, Gold
N4.1 - Servant of the People 24:26 - Pfefferi (266 953 pts) [v]targets x escort x escort N4.2 - Morning War 20:52 - Pfefferi (256 852 pts) [v] escort x escort x hack I was finally handed semi decent objectives on Morning War, or at least, not devices or targets. But then I just kind of forgot to use missiles and forgot what to do with Hydra. N4.3 - Annihilation 23:58 - Pfefferi (300 274 pts) [v] escort x hack x devices Glacier devices suck. They're not that bad on the bigger maps, just time-wasting, but probably not going to end the solo. On Glacier it always feels like a brute or a banshee is breathing down my neck. I want to redo this one, at some point, but I'll save that kind of thing for after I finish the whole series.

I didn't really expect, that I get so far in this series, but here I am with a realistic chance for me to meet Ash soon. On that note thanks, DistigousForest and MPApr2012 , the tips, you recendly posted in another thread, might come in handy soon.
N7 Challenge Series (Gold)
N5 - Omega ForcesI. Bray-Fist 32:46 - Balbock (256180 pts)Delivery / Delivery / Hack 1st try and it worked, even though it took quite a while, untill I got the 3 WS in this one (wave 8 or 9). I got myself staggered by all kind of things and outflanked by Pyros far to often for my liking and thought I could do it better: 40:32 - Balbock (283288 pts) 10WSDevices / Hack / Targets Well 10WS is better, the time however isn't. Anyway 10WS survived might be still worth to post it aswell. II. Kill Them! 41:47 - Balbock (300664 pts)Devices / Devices / Hack Reactor... I always find new places, where I though, that I can't get hit but still get hit... Anyway Executioner is a nice Weapon, if it hits where the point of aim was. And with the Submission Net Phantoms aren't that much of a problem. Still needed a few tries due to a lack of medigels in some runs... III. Retake Omega Part 3 - The Intangible is Unstoppable 45:46 - Balbock (248645 pts)Targets / Hack / Hack Carnifex is a good weapon but not es good vs an Atlas as the Executioner is. At least Nightshade Blades are a decend Power vs. Phantoms. And Poison Srike helped to avoid some of the placed Turrets.

Slowly moving on. Including new solo for the spot with the most fails: N7 Challenge Series (Gold)
N6 - The Scope of PerspectiveI. Garrus' Calibrations Part 2 - Archangel 51:25 - Balbock (263488 pts)Delivery / Delivery / Targets Maybe the Widow doesn't benefit from the Fire Rate bonus from Marksman, but it is still a fun Setup. Wave 9 had a very nice first spawn that just said "Pls speed up rocket here" the Killstreak is from that one. Too bad the Wave 10 spawns weren't that nice. Nuked the first 3 banshees and then chose to keep my last Rocket for clean up. Maybe not the best choice, since that one didn't hit quite right and I had to kill most enemies with the Widow anyway. II. Next of Kin 50:21 - Balbock (203088 pts)Targets / Delivery / Delivery Using Cryo Ammo and playing down the Wave budget via Abominations maybe isn't the quickest way, but, since all deaths in the runs before had something to do with abominations getting too close, it was probably the safer way for me. Also Pizzas in the open Area with lots of Collectors around are somewhat painfull to get. III. Ash 60:54 - Balbock (276444 pts)Escort / Targets / Targets And there goes the second "popular" solo to get stuck, after 13 failed runs (mostly giving up in wave 4 after getting dropped for the first time in said run) But then attempt No. 14: 2nd time that I got the necessary 5WS'ed and the 2nd time with Wave 6 Targets. Determined not to burn 5 Medigels again, while hunting down Phantoms with Dragoons chasing me around and running short on time and then nuked 3 Phantoms anyway, I just nuked the first two Targets and then I used the time to kill the Dragoons off first before going for the Phantoms again. But the Game wasn't finished with Phantoms as Targets. Wave 10 Targets switched to Phantoms again after nuking the Atlas. Nuked 2 more Phantoms and then killed lots of Phantoms one by one for quite some time till only the Atlases were left in the wave. At least Phantoms didn't bother me at all in wave 8, since they got themself stuck right at the beginning of the wave: Not quite sure, if it actually was an advantage since the wave went on forever, but it was definitely easier that way. With that just the extraction was left. Should be doable with 1 of each left, shouldn't it.
Well it was enough but very tense. The Medigel went after about a minute after jumping down on the lower level and getting shot by 2 waiting phantoms. The Rocket took care of the Atlas in the Extraction Zone with 10s to go, and the OpsPack together with AR was what had to keep me alive for the last 5s while some Phantoms and Dragoons rushed the Zone. Didn't even loose my shield but nearly got staggered out of the zone in the last second. But Cerberus failed this time.

More scrubby solos coming in N7 Challenge Series - HardcoreN1.II CDEM39:52 - SenorZanahoria (278 400 pts) [v]Targets/Objects/Targets N1.III Cyone Must Not Fall!35:00 - SenorZanahoria (198 994 pts) [v]Objects/Targets/Objects N2.I Resolve of the Shadowbroker27:45 - SenorZanahoria (290 431 pts) [v]Devices/Hack/Hack N2.II Lay Down The Lawson35:48 - SenorZanahoria (223 550 pts) [v]Targets/Targets/Objects So, a few words... CDEM took me more tries than I want/should/care to admit. And the successful run isn't that good either, a rather disappointing performance. Resolve of the Shadowbroker was fun... up to the moment when I couldn't see my Warp or Throw and my Stasis also bugged out a bit. When I tried to glitch the Hack on wave 10, I couldn't see my Omni-tool, so I thought it didn't work, went straight back into the circle, only to find out, that I still couldn't see my omni-tool. But it worked out anyways and a pretty ok time for my standards I think. As for Laydown the Lawson, I got 5WS on my first try, then got objects on wave 6. Easy going, that's what I thought. And when I went for the first object, I was flanked by Praetorian(s?) and Captains and screwed up completely. Used 3 missiles, 3 gels and 2 ops-packs I think. Got up to wave 9, but then was overrun by the last few enemies. Then I had a couple of fails, but I'm relatively happy with that run. Warp and Throw bugged out again though and some of the possessed enemies didn't look like it. That led to a suicide thanks to an abomb (at about 22:10 in the video). Got two good nuking opportunities on wave 8 that I couldn't miss out on and on wave 10, all enemies except for a Captain and an Abombination were in one spot, so cleanup was over quick and easy (also gave me 3 Killstreaks).

N6.III - Ash 26:32 - Pfefferi (244 402 pts) [v]hack x objects x objects Like several of my videos, this has no sound. I was listening to music while doing it, and my recording software goofed. I'm also moving my character along with the music and occasionally timing shots to the music in the video, so of course it all looks quite stupid with no sound.

I have no patience and no chill and just tend to rush things, then run into spawns and die as soon as I get tilted. It probably took 20+ attempts spread out over a few weeks. I have a playlist of the entire series for the leaderboard, linked here.

Week 5
ll. Tactical Supremacy (Insanity) For those who want to see an amazing performance by theDoc skip to W9 (around 40') and the escort on W10, both of which he finished alone. I finished the hack on W3 alone, because I decided I could not go back through the entire spawn to revive theDoc (especially after a disastrous W2 which cost me 3 gels and an ops pack).
This is a typical example of why FFTL has earned a well-deserved reputation as one of the most masochistic series of challenges (sorry, xel, truth is my friend, too ). You get a horrible map, against Trollectors (who troll you continuously), with the HInf getting a good weapon, the HSent getting a shitty weapon and a request of 20HS for both. Instead of using my strengths as an extremely powerful biotic, I had to run around to get headshots with a fart gun. I ended up by using Apry's favorite ammo, cryo, and got the job done, but I have to ask why not 50 biotic kills?
It took us almost two weeks to get through this challenge. Here's hoping the rest will go smoother (though theDoc says things will get harder ).

It probably took 20+ attempts spread out over a few weeks. I tried to redo ariake at least a dozen time too, but each time i get a disatrous combo of damage at some point... it need almost 3 units to drop you without u to have time to ops or shield boost...

Anybody can get 50 biotic kills. Only the true badass gets 20 HS with the Hornet. Having watched the better part of this video and another one from the series, I have two suggestions for you - one for this challenge and one in general.
For this one, stop thinking of your weapon as a Hornet and start thinking of it as a Raider. In other words, as with most things Sentinel, the answer is: Get in close and .... Tech armor! pop those watermelons. Warp staggers, heavy melee staggers, throw staggers protected enemies, use these to set up headshots, depending on the situation.
And in general, I noticed you wait too much. While solo may require it sometimes, in duo (especially with the other Doc), you can play quite aggressively. Time not spent shooting / throwing powers should be time spent getting into a better position. Surprise, speed and violence of action.

Quit whining.
Some excellent advice, noted, thanks! I got to discard some habits I've got from the 4yrs of playing only solo...

Back at the Tales, after a break (and no Sonashii , it isn't because you asked when we do the next, but because you hadn't time earlier today.). Hamletic's Tales from the Trenches
Week 1: Leaving EarthII. Recon-naissance (Hardcore) 31:26 - fraggle | BalbockEscort / Devices / Escort We already tried this one a while ago but ran out of Medigel back then. But we didn't have our secret weapon then, so we fixed that today and tried again while using Cryo-Ammo (I might just have given away our secret weapon. ). Was a lot smoother today. Well except the Wave 10 Escort because every Praetorian wanted to stand in the way of the drone. Rockets helped with that and the following cleanup. Week 3: Grissom AcademyI. The unstoppable force (Hardcore) 24:10 - fraggle | BalbockTargets / Delivery / Devices 3rd time is a charm. The first two attempts ended both in the extraction wave due to being out of Medigels. But after switching kits we first got a 3 WS and then made it to the extraction with some medigels to spare, which was quite surprising, since I mostly remember terrible Slayer performances from me in the past. Must be that fraggle is the better Fury Player than. (Wait, Sona, didn't you write "hope you wipe, hope you wipe" before you left?... You evil err thanks, man, I don't think I would have discovered that I can play the Slayer better than I remembered otherwise. )1st 2 Waves were mostly used to get the needed Meleekills. Fury seems to be the better melee kit (in my opinion). One Rocket in Wave 3 provided the Killstreak and a target switch, so that wave went quite quickly. The Pizzas were delivered before the enemies could really reach that side of the map. Dragoons don't count here because they died too fast to do anything. And we managed to get through Wave 7 before the Engineers placed turrets everywhere. And some more Luck for the Wave 10 Devices, since they spawned in places with decent cover, where one of us could do it while the other staggered the incoming Phantoms.

Bonus Week
ll. Embrace Eternity! (Insanity) 31:29 - The_Doctor46N7 | DocSteely Once you get the idea, it's a very fun duo: the AA primes and the Novaguard detonates... Question for xelander : theDoc told me Killstreaks count as gold medals for both players; is that correct? if not we'll need to redo it... P.S. Removed the link to the video following xelander's answer - see next page...
