You cannot kill a Banshee fast enough to deal with her and ANYTHING ELSE, so you must kite and kill the mooks. Thus, you run around, kill things, run around, kill things. You have frags, and you have Grenade Capacity. They are the best Banshee killers. Get them to walk and make sure they aren't highlighted and then feed them 4 or 5 frags at a shot, with 5b they just become a joke after a while. I saved my missiles for waves 8 and 9. Nuked double Banshees 3 times on wave 8 and twice on 9, saving that last missile for either post-objective cleanup or target switching on wave 10. Edit: how have you successful runners set up your expendables and Revvay? I have been going AR Stability/HVB with IA4, using Grenade Gear/ Cyclonic/ AR amp. I was successful because I didn't use the Revvay. Total piece of shit gun. Katana all day, headshot medal by wave 3 or 4. This was my build. I'm pretty sure muahmuah and I used the same build; I didn't look, but if I were to guess he took weapon damage in the passive, 4a instead of 4b for Frags, and a Geth Scanner. I'm a scrub, I like my grenades.

You and muahmuah can have it The best lesson learned from Revvay and Rio Reapers - stop kiting so damned far, turn and fight as often as possible, there is a corner of win somewhere near you at all times. Basically, that stupid solo was an immense git-gudder. Edit: I also used GC and Cyclonic. I tried Power Amp and was too flimsy. Bleed Evolution made a big difference after I respecc'd.

IIRC, there s a really cool vid from Haxn in the HoF. disclaimer : i havent watched Pfefferi's one Pfefferi was fast. I had a couple runs that were much more similar to theirs, but ultimately I haven't got gud enuf to play on the edge of death that much and deal damage accurately at the same time. Not for the entire match, at least. My successful run took forever, but it was an excercise. 183 pull-ups, and I am stronger for them. Edit: as for my current state of affairs - It was brought to my attention by MPApr2012 that I had not posted anything in the official HoF thread. I am happy to say I am a current candidate enlisted in N7 Challenge Training, sirs and madams, and have just now successfully completed N3.2 It was another classic QGG run - mostly perfect until 9, then somehow I decide to get dumb with rockets and once again get targets on wave 10 Nevertheless, Mission Successful, 40:59. Should have saved a rocket for wave 10 cleanup, but again wave 9 + Geth and I don't get along lately.

It occurs to me there s no proper challenge series, well no proper solo challenge at all, for my favourite N7 kits ... Just used the challenge search again, and fury has to solo with non fury weapons, Paladin has only N7 1 II, shadows has only creepy challenges either on rio or on white with raptor (the outlier series, a series on which non of our mad masochist soloers has even think to try on plat !!!) and slayer has only a jade geth (with crusader though) So anybody here interested in a new N7 (kits) serie ? I guess i m a bit late

This one was rather agonizing, just in the number of near-misses. The others were pretty much either do or die... this was all kill or be killed. Slightly different despite seeming the same. Clusum was right. If you kill them dead, they can't kill you back. N3.3I now have some videos to upload. I guess I will start with N1.2, since N1.1 is brain-dead easy. Including a duo, of a particular friend of mine who has tortured me with this challenge! You know who you apr.

Good on ya mate! Well bloody done.
So... N4 next, right? Cause with all that overhelming sense of overcome and accomplish all thosee defeatist thoughts of giving up and all, all but evparorated now without a trace, like a piece of dry ice left on a benchtop Seriously though, there's no schedule to keep, you play things to your tempo and mood, even if it means taking a break, all about fun in the end, eh
Ah, and you also got a typo up there. Surely meant to say N2.1, n'est-ce pas?

Agreed on all counts. However, I am going to stop being "Invisible" this evening for an hour, and pug GI Jav/GSMG for kicks. I haven't gone Jav-steppin in a long time. A fair bit of rust to shake off there, although I feel confident I could do it quite stylishly with mostly GSMG without too much trouble TBH. Put some AP4 on that thing and it is a death hammer, and I happen to have over 200 AP4 sitting around. Nevertheless, I want to Javelin that solo, and so I shall remember the gun tonight. Then before bed, I will upload one video. It will not be 1.2. It will also not be 2.1, or any video in this series. A young Krant of Urdnot Glenn entered a wild lobby, expecting a GiP and instead finding a hair raising duo. Expect some hilarity Will update this post with link.
Edit: The video is not what I thought, it just has us getting our awards and chatting after the match. Sorry @mprapr2012, I lost that footage somehow

No Throw and No Hazard still a (Biotic) Storm threw the Collectors off FB White: Hamletic's Tales from the TrenchesWeek 10: ThessiaII. Old School, New School (Hardcore) 28:21 - fraggle | BalbockDelivery / Hack / Hack Not sure if necessary, still an ingame screenshot showing the lack of Throw: Also a hint on what the Collectors unleashed with taking away all our Medigel by Wave 7 in the first try. Second Killstreak happened in Wave 10 While clearing the Hackzone with a Rocket.First thing to get it out of the way: Asari Adept without Throw? Why?... Wait. Warp + Reave = BE! I see: Teamwork! That's why! With that out of the way we had a decent plan to approach this challenge. Still AA without Throw feels only half complete, but the game was great anyway!

I always play Valkyrie one way - Venom Melee Gasm of Doom.
I'm not in any world capable of making that work solo, without days passing by. No patience for that.
So, I built the lamest Asari ever.
Look at my Shaman build... I want to kill myself just thinking about it.

Personally, I've always liked the N7 kits, though not all of them are plat-solo material for us average players. But hey, there's always gold, and duos and trios. Seriously, do it.

N7 Challenge Series - HardcoreN3.I Chooser of the Slain26:23 - SenorZanahoria (344 948 pts) [v] 10WSHack/Objects/Targets N3.II Hold the Line27:41 - SenorZanahoria (256 732 pts) [v]Devices/Objects/Objects N3.III Awaking the Eye of Wrath33:54 - SenorZanahoria (280 858 pts) [v] 10WSEscort/Targets/Escort I did N3 in reverse order, because Sonashii kept pushing me to attempt Awaking the Eye of Wrath and because I wanted Chooser of the Slain as relaxation after the other two that didn't seem too easy to me. I had a couple of attempts on N3.III with a somewhat weird build that I don't quite remember. But I only put 3 points in fitness and after failing a couple of times, I changed to something that Sonashii suggested (I think). Full fitness, and only 5 points in Warp and I also changed from AP ammo to Incendiary Ammo... That did the trick apparently and I got out with a 10WS, which I never would've expected. I was lucky on two occasions by escaping Phantom sync kills with OPS-packs, one of those was after the objective on wave 10. On wave 3, at the beginning of the escort, I warped a Dragoon and a few seconds later I set of an explosion. Another few seconds later that Dragoon returns with exactly the same amount of armor. For targets on wave 6 I nuked the first one, so they would change from phantoms (which I wouldn't have managed to kill in time I guess) to Dragoons. Coming into wave 8 with all OPS-packs and Gels made me quite happy Later that day, still powered up by beating N3.III, I gave Hold the Line a shot. I had some excellent spawns (especially on wave 2, might upload that at some point), and failed in the end with 30 seconds to extraction at the time of 26:45 I gave it a few more attempts, but wasn't in the mood anymore, so left it aside, not for long though. The next day, after I used up all my Cyclonics IV, I went out there with Cyclonics III. The first few waves started with good spawns, but then Geth kept sneaking up on me. So it took me from wave 4 to 6 I think to get 3WS. Got lucky with the objectives and finished a lot quicker than I thought. And then, later that day, I moved on to Chooser of the Slain. I quit two runs on wave 1 I think, first because I ran so stupidly in a spawn that I dropped without doing anything to the enemies and then because I ran around so stupidly that I got downed towards the end of wave 1. Giant/Reapers... something's wrong with me when playing there. Nonetheless, I gave it another try and that went much better (better than a wave 1 fail wasn't hard to be fair ). It could've easily been ruined on wave 10 when I tried to take out one of the targets and ran into a group of 2 Brutes and 2 Banshees. It was my lucky day I guess and I wasn't grabbed nor killed. So far, this has been more enjoyable than I thought. I expected more frustration, but that which is not, may yet be. Anyways, I need some time away from this and get new supplies of Cyclonics IV.

I focused on Executioner, BPPP was for Atli shields whittling really. I kinda found EA... well, works with that pistol. esp vs Carebears. you get a free stagger to hide your reload or cast powers, and it's just fun to watch dragoons phantoms expiring with that quite "p-boom"

For me a throwback to 2012 pre L2P-Plat cheesing (we wouldn't have dared to choose this map back then, though) and for fraggle the first time point&click till everything is dead (I don't think she really liked this kind of gameplay too much ): Hamletic's Tales from the TrenchesWeek 7: DreadnoughtII. The Immovable Object (Hardcore) 25:15 - fraggle | BalbockTargets / Delivery / Targets Overall a good game even though not the most exciting gameplay (in my opinion) due to mostly stationary point&click with some added nadespam. Still we (maybe) got some exciting moments: - Abomination hugged fraggle and a clean Harrier headshot stopped it - Later she retured the favor with the PPR's Beam and I got staggered out of cover in front of a waiting Scion cannon... ByeBye 5WS, but well played - Praetorian snuck up on fraggle. A TCP'd Harrier staggered the Crab before it even pulled her fully in. It was dead shortly after. - Another Abomination hugged fraggle. I punshed that one off, because Headshots clearly didn't work out before. - Me missing the first Wave 10 Target spawn twice with rockets. Fraggle took over and showed how it's done. - Us trying to survive under 2 Praetorians in the LZ for the last seconds... I could have made it too, if I had just one OpsPack more. - Giggles overheated the PPR only once in the whole game (as far as I noticed...)
