Haha, funny thing is that I remember you from old BSN Actually I remember a couple of people from Miranda thread- jtav, Ieldra2, MisterJB, Iakus, IsaacShep and of course, the biggest fan on former BSN - MEFanforlife10101 - or something like that I don't know if they made it to current BSN but I know they were pretty active in Miranda thread. Also there was some ending threads as well. Synthesis one was very active haha. Also I remember you had Control ending signature lol. I don't know if I was part of the Miranda thread, but I'm sure I was trying to be haha.

2011: I discovered official BSN, then I was lurking in order to get some info about upcoming ME 3. First leaks, first shitstorms etc.

2012: Officialy joined BSN. Participated (I wasn't posting much) in ending discussions, followed Miranda fan group, watched neverending shitstorm about the endings. Finally after almost a year I achieved my first ever (and only) - ban  



2013 - 2016 Finally abandoned BSN for good, never made to BSN Prime (I tried a couple of times but never been bothered enough to deal with account situation). Lurked here and there but I was aware of BSN Prime situation. Real life got in the way.

Late 2016 - now After initial lurking I decided to make account on BSN Boards. Have been hanging out in ME 3 multiplayer section since then.

All I want to say is - THANK YOU! If not you guys I would've never met many incredible people. I had the chance to play with them, get to know them better. This place is special to me, and that's mostly because your work you've put into it. I hope new BSN will last as long as possible.

PS. I know that most of us here are refugees from old forums, so please guys, don't turn it into another Monastery! I don't want to be a Husk

Can you imagine that no newcomers to the BW games (not old fans finding a safe harbor) can now say they remember the official forums?

Sad, really. I, for one, remember lurking on BSN, before it got the white makeover and became BioWare Forums. I haven't actually joined until it was BWF.
I remember my first post being something about Inquisition. We recently found out that the crafting system will allow us to name our own weapons, and there was this thread...

That's when I called The Bard's Letter Opener, Tool of the Game and Recurve of the Woods. Along with a warhammer I never use, ironically called "Knock knock!"
It was sometimes in August, actually. I've been around for... shit, three years? That's longer than any forum before, though certainly not the longest I've been a member of an online group.

For some reason, I... didn't originally consider any other place. Maybe because this became the actual new BSN. You're continuing that tradition, you know that, right. Keep fighting the good fight.

And happy birthday.

The fact that the majority of us are still here in a weird act of defiance against the closure of the forums I think is a testament to how close-knit we tend to be sometimes. Let's embrace that, despite differences. 

May the BSN continue to rise from the ashes. Bigger. Better. Stronger.

It's a bittersweet first anniversary, I had a fun time on BSN when I re-joined just before the launch of DA:i. While this isn't the official forums with the popularity that comes with it, it's great to be in a Bioware forum that is properly moderated and you don't get random warnings for asking about moderation, a place that shares all those fine people that used to be on the old forum.

This is a fine place and I hope that it continues for a long time, even though I don't check here very often I look forward to joining in with the hive of activity that will come from the announcement of DA4

I have been allowed to stay here, shit posting, being critical, yet still obviously a BioWare fan at heart.

After ME3 came out, the old forum's time was runny out. EA corporatization of the forums killed it, along with a bunch of terrible moderation hires. Jesus, if I could just have 5 minutes to stare at each of the ogBSN moderators in their face, so they could see my disdain...

Thank you, all of you. I missed the people, I missed the shitposting. Great forum, great moderation, 95% less closures - it is an actual place for discussion. Bravo!
