Mass Effect Andromeda Patch 1.10 Notes

Damn, I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived home to find out there was already a new patch...but it wasn't a major one. At the very least, the patche contains some great fixes/tweaks to MP.

Also, please note that there are some people that do care about multiplayer just as much as they care about singleplayer!

Scott and Reyes s/s romance stuff still not fixed.

To add to this, DLC and enhanced editions are one of the reasons that game prices haven't shot up to £100 on release. A good game has a longer play-life and longer-term profit after release, so not all the return has to come from the initial game itself. Otherwise games wouldn't be affordable with spend tens of millions being the norm for the development of a game. 

DLC is nice for RPG's, because it's more time with characters and expanding the experience, story and lore. Not so much when it's loot boxes and random chance micro transactions and map-packs. 

I also remember buying expansion packs that sometimes cost more than half the price of the base game and only had as much content as they did because they had to justify releasing as a boxed disc.

Plus 7 expansion packs for the original Sims that simply added new items & clothing and the occasional feature - not unlike, shock horror, DLC.

Most DLC for BioWare games is made after the game ships, or is at least content locked, and even in the days before it gamers definitely had an appetite for additional content for existing games. DLC just makes it far easier to add content and in smaller, more frequent drops rather than some huge full expansion that comes out nearly a year later and runs a high risk of not making a profit because it has to be physically released and people have likely stopped playing the base game.

I'm always serious....seriously.

I think we'll have to rely on mods for this to be fixed.

The abilities of the tools are expanding all the time. I wouldn't be surprised if that happens in time.

Yes - I was hoping for a font fix - larger font for those of us who have a visual impairment....
