got my Batguard to rank IX. spent a little over 4 million credits. he seems pretty underwhelming on platinum, but then again, I was ranking him up so he was pretty gimped. He is not as good as I expected him to be. His passives really need something special (free recharge speed)and he needs the extra 20% debuff his annihilation field is missing. Not your fault. The kit probably feels better in Gold just like Asari Vanguard. BatVan must be near impossible to die in Gold.. but Platinum is just different league. As it turns out, not really. The extra cooldown on charge really hurts, and he doesn't have DR or I-frames like the other vanguards. The shield steal on kill isn't very reliable, and his base shields are lower than the Asari adept so it doesn't even do that much. And no barrier tree means no saving barrier or shield steal on melee. |

Not pay to win (as its coop) but I bought the $150 deluxe edition then dropped another $100 on the hero upgrade edition to get 8 legendary heros. Becomes tons of fun once you get out of the first quest (too easy--really a long tutorial) but its starting to bottleneck a bit at the end of quest two. Resources are hard to come by but its definitely something I will play for the next few years slowly. I'll be on it until COD. Can't even look at Andromeda anymore. Even if they dropped 10 characters and 10 new weapons the thought of grinding for them makes me cringe. If you are going to take the plunge I can save you $20. I can sell you a code for half price if you want one. I have 3 left and its $40 to play. Sold one for $20 already. The $250 version of the early access comes with 4 codes for friends. I also spent $100 on V bucks. My A team from Andromeda is all on fortnite wrecking shit LOL we all bought the $250 edition... |

I've heard it had good dps but I honestly can't see it replacing any of my rare Siphon shotguns. It was better even at mid ranks than my Siphon Dhan, IMO. At high ranks, it's monstrous. At IX it weighs 25, IIRC, so I had to consciously avoid putting it on everything. I especially enjoyed it on the asari and human adepts. Prime -> empty Shorty with Off Biotics damage-taken debuff -> detonate. Melts Plat bosses at a rate nearly on par with Scrapper/human Soldier (and a much more enjoyable playstyle than nadespam, at least to my sensibilities). |
